英国製John partridgeの御紹介！
僕が30代の頃、パリでSEHMと云う展示会が開催されておりまして、英国のブースでJohn partridge
を見つけまして、その当時は直接買い付けでボーイズで展開しておりました。
オイル引き以外にもキルティングからコートまで色々な商品を展開しておりました。
その懐かしさもあったのですが、ボーイズでもオイル引きはBARBOURを展開しておりまして
SLシリーズのボーダーコートは未だ英国製なので、現在はボーダーのみ展開しております。
John partridgeは現在でも英国製を頑なに追求しておりまして、
Introducing John partridge made in the UK!
When I was in my thirties, an exhibition called SEHM was being held in Paris, and John partridge was held at the booth in the UK.
At that time, I bought it directly and developed it in Boys.
In addition to oiling, we have developed various products from quilting to coats.
There was nostalgia for that, but even boys are developing BARBOUR for oil pulling.
The SL series border coats are still made in the UK, so we are currently developing only borders.
John partridge is still stubbornly pursuing British products,
この8オンスのオイルドコットンに関しても、1864年スコットランドのダンディー州創業のHALLEY STEVENSON社
のワックスコットンを使用しております。
（昔の英国製のBARBOURみたいな雰囲気ですね）
For this 6 ounce oiled cotton, HALLEY STEVENSON, founded in Dundee, Scotland in 1864.
We use waxed cotton.
(It’s like the old British-made BARBOUR)
それから縫製などの工程の職人さんの名前も記載されております。
一人ひとりの職人さんのプライドの証でしょうか！
Also, the name of the craftsman in the process such as sewing is listed.

そして、その縫製の手順にしましても、スーツの仕立てに見られる表生地と裏生地を別々に縫製しまして最後に
一枚に合わせると手の込んだ技法で仕立てられております。
この製法のお陰で、肩周りの可動域も良くなりますし保温性も向上されるそうです。

僕も30代の頃、クラシックレンジを清水の舞台から飛び降りて購入しましたが、本当に素敵な車でした。

顧客さんも何人か乗られておりますが、チャンスがあれば又乗りたい車です。
佇まいと運転の際の目線が最高です。
（滅茶苦茶壊れましたが、それでも修理して乗りたい逸品です）
電気系統やエアコンの水漏れ、それから昔は鳴門大橋など無かったのでフェリーでの移動中、電動シートを倒して
寝ておりまして到着したら電動シートが動かなくなったとか、サンルーフを開けて走っておりまして閉めようとしたら
閉まらなくなったりとか本当に色々ありましたが、それでも毎日駐車場に出向くと、その佇まいに惚れてしまう車です。
余談が長くなりそうなので面舵いっぱいと！
