This piece was specially ordered from BARBA using lovely Italian cotton flannel fabric!
インディゴっぽいお色目のブルーに大人のベージュの格子柄になります。
此のお色目だけでもアメリカ物には無いどこか上品な雰囲気を醸し出しておりますね。
（まあ、アメリカ物のチェック柄はそれはそれでバタ臭くて素敵なんですが）
The checkered pattern is a sophisticated beige with an indigo-like blue hue.
Just this color scheme gives off a certain elegance that you don’t get in American items.
(Although American checkered patterns are lovely in their own way, with a bit of a tacky vibe.)

ボタン付けも鳥足と言う職人の手縫いで行われております。
The buttons are also hand-sewn by a craftsman called Toriashi.
ですからボタンの掛け外しも容易に行えますね。
This makes it easy to fasten and unfasten the buttons.
それから一番の特徴は身頃とお袖は別々に縫製しまして熟練の職人の手に依りイセ込みを入れながら
手縫いで縫製する訳なんです。
これに依ってお袖の可動域も良くなり着心地を向上してくれる訳なんですね。
勿論、人間工学に基づきましてお袖自身も前振りに縫製されております。
The most distinctive feature is that the body and sleeves are sewn separately, and then hand-sewn by skilled artisans while adding a special hem.
This allows for a greater range of motion in the sleeves, improving comfort.
Of course, the sleeves themselves are sewn with a forward flare, based on ergonomics.

お洗濯しますとより此のイセ込みが際立ちます。
It’s the same technique as the rain sleeves on the jacket.

通常BARBAのシャツには背ダーツが存在するのですが、背ダーツも排除しておりますので自然な感じの
ゆとり感もございますね。
僕で14Hを自然なゆとり感で着用しております。

ボーイズマーケットの別注BDシャツと同じで前身頃と後ろ見頃を別々に縫製しまして最後に縫い合わせるので
裾が断ち切りになる為、此の脇マチが必要となる訳なんです。
お値段は張りますが、これだけ手縫いなどがございまして立体的なお襟やお袖などの演出もございます

着熟しもヨーロッパな目線で、
Finally, the side gussets are also hand-sewn.
Just like Boys Market’s custom-made BD shirts, the front and back bodice are sewn separately and then sewn together at the end.
The hem is raw, so the side gussets are necessary.
It’s a bit pricey, but with so much hand-stitching, it also has a three-dimensional collar and sleeves.
It makes for a wonderful BD shirt.
BARBA BD shirts are hard to find, so be sure to try them out!
