Today we’re introducing a unique piece!
ボーイズマーケットのオーダーシャツ工場で企画しておりますBDシャツになります！
贅沢にもシャツ専業の工場其れもドレス工場でカジュアルなシャツを作って頂いておりまして
一見シンプルなBDシャツですがギミックが詰め込まれました一枚となります。
This is a BD shirt designed by Boys Market’s custom-made shirt factory!
We had the luxury of having these casual shirts made at a factory that specializes in shirts, and that’s also a dress factory.
While this may look like a simple BD shirt at first glance, it’s packed with gimmicks.
先ずは素材ですが、肉厚なコットンヘリンボーンを使用しております。
これを聞きますと固い素材なのかな？と妄想される方も多いかと思いますが、製品完成後に洗い加工を
施しておりますので張りや腰は有るものの肌触りなどは優しいですね。
First of all, the material is a thick cotton herringbone.
This might lead some to assume it’s a stiff material, but since it’s washed after production,
it’s still soft to the touch, even though it has some firmness and stiffness.
お色はナチュラルカラーになります。
真っ白じゃなくてオフホワイトの表現がベストかと。
The color is natural.
I think off-white would be best, not pure white.
着用しますとこんな雰囲気になります。
此の画像のお色が実物に近いと思います。
肉厚な素材ですが画像で柔らかさもご理解して頂けるでしょうか。
This is the look it gives when worn.
I think the color in this image is closest to the actual product.
The material is thick, but I hope you can get a sense of its softness from the image.
BDシャツの命、お襟のロール感もスーパーソフトの芯を採用しておりますので
The collar, the lifeblood of a BD shirt, is rolled up with a super soft core.
こんな感じに柔らかいロール感を実現しております。
This gives it a soft roll feel.
それからシャツの第一ボタンは職人さんの手付けになります。
ですから根巻きになっておりますのでボタンの掛け外しが容易に行えますね。
The first button on the shirt is then sewn on by hand by a craftsman.
As a result, the button is wrapped around the base, making it easy to fasten and unbutton.
カフスのボタンも同様に手付けになっており掛け外しのやりにくい箇所への細かな配慮が為されております。
ドレス工場ならではのギミックになります。
The cuff buttons are also sewn on by hand, with careful consideration given to areas that are difficult to fasten and remove.
A gimmick that can only be found in a dress factory.
脇裾のガゼットも飾りじゃなくて断ち切りになった脇裾の始末になります。
何故なら昨今飾りでガゼットを付けているシャツメーカーも多いのですが、ドレス工場ならではの
前身頃と後ろ身頃を別々に縫製しまして最後に脇を縫い合わせる為、脇裾が断ち切りになってしまうから
なんです。
The gussets at the side hems are not decorative, but rather raw edges.
This is because, while many shirt manufacturers these days use gussets as decoration, dress factories sew the front and back pieces separately and then sew the sides together at the end, which results in raw edges at the side hems.
良いシャツを作る為なら一手間も二手間も惜しまない工場さんですね。

それから着丈も
This is a factory that spares no effort in making a quality shirt.
You’ll understand that if you actually try one on.
And the length, too.
ギリギリパンツのアウトで着て頂ける着丈になります。
昨今、着丈の短いシャツも多いですが、シャツの成り立ちからみて頂けませんね。
The length is just long enough to be worn over pants.
These days, there are a lot of short shirts, but that doesn’t go back to the origins of shirts.
こちらがバックスタイルになります。
This is the back style.
アメトラ王道のセンターボックスプリーツの採用になります。
It features the classic American style center box pleats.
こんな感じで後ろ姿はアメトラなムード全開となりますね。
しかし6ボタンの採用からポケットの排除など古き良きアメリカの香りも残しつつヨーロッパな目線も
盛り込みました一枚かと思いますね。
装いも
The back of the jacket has a very Americana vibe.
However, with the use of six buttons and the elimination of pockets, it retains a touch of good old Americana, while also incorporating a European perspective.

This piece was custom ordered from the iconic Dejavu in Rome, Italy, using deadstock Loro Piana herringbone fabric.
It also pairs well with coveralls and vests.
