今もなを英国製に拘り最新の機器と旧式の機器を織り交ぜて作られるストールは、最高の肌触りや暖かさを
提供してくれるのです。
ストールを一枚作るのに約23の工程がありまして、其の一枚のストール作りに40人程の職人さんが従事
しているそうです。
ジョシュアエリスのストールの特徴は、コートなどの重厚な生地を作るかのようにカシミアを贅沢に使用
しましてかなりの打ち込みで縮絨しまして其の後職人さんの手に依りまして毛羽を立たせカシミア特有の
肌触りを実現しているのです。
其れからお色の発色の良さもジョシュアエリスの特徴の一つですね！
This is a Joshua Ellis shawl made in the UK.
Still committed to British manufacturing, their shawls are made using a mix of modern and old-fashioned equipment, providing the ultimate in softness and warmth.
It takes approximately 23 steps to make one shawl, and approximately 40 artisans are involved in the production of each shawl.
The defining feature of Joshua Ellis shawls is that they use a generous amount of cashmere, just as they would for a heavy coat.
They are then felted with a high density of yarn, and then hand-raised by artisans to create the characteristic cashmere feel.
Another defining feature of Joshua Ellis is the vibrant colors!
こちらのストールのターコイズの色目などかなり美しく表現されておりますね。
男好きされますオリーブグリーンとネイビーに発色の素敵なターコイズブルーを絶妙な割合で織り上げて
おります。
The turquoise hue of this scarf is beautifully expressed.
Men’s favorite olive green and navy are woven with a beautiful, vibrant turquoise blue in an exquisite ratio.
長さはございますが、幅がそこまで無くて実際にコートなどに巻かれましてもお襟元が丁度良いバランス
になります。
It’s long, but not too wide, so it fits perfectly around the collar when wrapped around a coat.
女性の様に肩に羽織る場合なら、横幅もある程度必要となりますが、巻物としてなら丁度良い横幅かと
思いますね。
カシミア初心者の方などには是非挑戦して頂きたい一枚になります。
此の肌触りなど体感されますと、もう後戻りは出来ませんね！
でも短い人生ですからいち早く体感されるのをお勧めします。
良い物を長く愛用されるのをお勧めします。
10年以上ご使用になりますとカシミア特有の畝も無くなってきますが、アフターケアーとして
再現する事も勿論可能ですから。

If you’re wearing it over your shoulders like a woman, you’ll need a certain amount of width, but I think it’s just the right width for a wrap.
This is a piece that I would highly recommend to anyone new to cashmere.
Once you experience this texture, there’s no going back!
But life is short, so I recommend experiencing it as soon as possible.
I encourage you to use good things for a long time.
After 10 years of use, the distinctive ridges of cashmere will fade, but of course, it is possible to recreate them as part of aftercare.

Using a 20-year-old cashmere stole used by the proprietress of my friend SOUL as a sample,
we were able to beautifully recreate the faded ridges!
