誕生から100年続いておりますシェットランドスウェーターのご紹介です。

それから10年近く着用されますと、シャギードッグ特有の毛羽立ちも無くなって参りますが、それも
完璧の元通りとまでは難しいですが、毛羽出させるのも可能となります。
ご遠慮なくお申し付け下さい。
そこまでアフターケアーもさせて頂くのは、僕自身の惚れ込みもございますね。
友人のクリーニング屋さんに毛羽立ちを頼んでみたり虫食いの補習も完璧に元通りに出来るお直しさんを
見つけたりと。
僕自身が長年愛用しまして色々な実験を繰り返して完全とまではいきませんが、アフターケアーの準備は
整えております。
ですから気兼ねなく惜しげも無く愛用してみて下さい。
其のストレスフリーな着心地や保温性などにも納得して頂けると思っております。
さて、そろそろ詳細に移らさせて頂きますね。
Introducing the Shetland sweater, a tradition that dates back 100 years.
Originally woven by a family for fishermen who worked the sea, this sweater
is perfect for outdoor use.
It’s the perfect piece for us to wear for many years to come.
If the elbows get worn out, adding suede elbow patches would be a great idea.
We can also repair moth damage and other issues.
After nearly 10 years of wear, the characteristic pilling of Shaggy Dog sweaters will disappear,
but it is possible to restore the pilling, although it is difficult to restore it to its original condition.

I’m so passionate about this product that I offer such extensive aftercare.
I’ve asked a friend’s dry cleaner to remove the pilling, and I’ve found a tailor who can repair the moth damage perfectly.

此の毛羽立ちも職人さんの手によるものとなります。
ハンドフレームで編み立てまして一度水通しをしまして編み立ての目を詰めまして防風性や保温性を
高めているのです。
そして最後にアザミの葉で毛羽を立たせているのです。
現在、英国はユーロを離脱しまして、移民を全て帰国させておりまして職人さん不足となってしまい
此のような手のかかる製品作りを今後続けていけるのか？と言う局面にも立たされております。
巷では10年後に存在するのか？などと噂されているブランドになります。
僕自身の住む徳島でも高齢や病気などで営業が立ち行かなくなる美味しい飲食店さんも多くて
（もうあの味が味わえないのか！）と寂しくなると同様に洋服の世界でも同じ現象が起きているのではと
懸念しております。
必ず続いて欲しいブランドの一つですね。
人の手の温かみを感じさせてくれるブランドですから。
編み立て自身も、

スウェーター本体、水通しされておりますのでお襟のネックやお袖口のリブなども着用していきますと
丁度良いくらいに伸びてくれますね。

此の土日に来店されましたお客様達も、
（今年は何色にしようかな？）と棚の前で佇まれる方も多かったですね。
そして最後は、コートかアウター片手にスウェーターも！と。
（やはり冬は楽しい！）と楽しまれておりました。
さて、お色のご紹介になります。

こちらはホワイトとサックスブルーとセージグリーンのメランジェになります。
パッと見はサックスブルーかな？と思わせますがよくよく見ますと表情豊かなメランジェニット！

At first glance, it might look like sax blue, but upon closer inspection, it’s a richly expressive melange knit!
やはりメランジェはヨーロッパなムードを漂わせてくれますね。

ネーミング通りにホワイトとサックスとブルーのメランジェ
名前通りに波を連想させますスウェーターとなりますね。

As the name suggests, this sweater is a melange of white, sax, and blue.
Just as the name suggests, it’s reminiscent of waves.
