古着屋時代からReynspoonerは、良い柄行きなど有ればピックしていたのですが、
実際に着用するとなると好んでレーヨンの長袖を518などにコーディネィトしておりました。
友人がHAWAIIで喫茶店をやりたい！との事で一緒にHAWAIIに出向いた際、
ホテルマンから銀行員そして電気工事の方までReyn spoonerを着ているのを見まして
やはりローカルはReyn spoonerなんだ！と感動させられました。
それからというものHAWAIIを訪れる際には必ずReynspooner持参で行っております。
大好きなマウイがあの惨事になってから為替や米国のスーパーインフレで以前みたいに軽く行く事が
出来ておりませんが。
Reynspoonerでも着まして気持ちだけはマウイに浸りたいと思っています。
さて、これからの日本の夏にピッタリな一枚を本日はご紹介させて頂きますね。
Even back in my days running a vintage clothing store, I would pick up Reynspooner pieces if I found a good pattern.
When it came to actually wearing them, I preferred coordinating rayon long-sleeved shirts with my 518 jeans.
A friend wanted to open a coffee shop in Hawaii, so I went there with him.
I saw everyone wearing Reynspooner—from hotel staff to bankers and even electricians—and I was deeply impressed, realizing that Reynspooner is indeed the local choice!
Since then, I always bring a Reynspooner with me when I visit Hawaii.
My beloved Maui hasn’t been able to be visited as easily as before due to the tragic events, currency fluctuations, and hyperinflation in the US.
But I still want to wear my Reynspooner and immerse myself in the spirit of Maui.
Now, today I’d like to introduce a piece that’s perfect for the upcoming Japanese summer.

Originally released in 1986, this model was named OLD SCHOOL REYN’S.
It was re-released this year as part of the Tahitian Cotton Collection.
大きなモンステラの葉にさりげなくReynspoonerのサインが描かれた一枚は
アイランドヴィンテージスタイルの代表作となります。
This piece, featuring Reynspooner’s signature subtly drawn on a large monstera leaf,
is a representative work of the Island Vintage style.

着用しますとお襟はこんな雰囲気になります。
ブルックスなどのお襟よりは少々小ぶりなお襟になりますね。

当然ですがリバースプリント裏使いになります。
Naturally, the reverse print will be used on the inside.
日焼けをしても変化が分かりにくいと裏使いしたのが始まりです。
It all started when I realized that the changes in my tan were hard to see, so I began using the reverse side of the product.

これ実際に車に乗ったり座ったりした際、重宝するデザインです。
