兎にも角にも今回限りの別注となります！
2年越しで出来上がってきました！
何の事かって？
（現在パラブーツの工場では別注を生産できるレーンが今までの半分くらいになりまして、
サンプル製作から本生産までかなりの日数が掛かる様になっております。）
It’s finally finished after two years in the making!
Wondering what it is?
先ず事の始まりは、2025年の1月に遡ります。
To begin with, the story dates back to January 2025.
Pitti UOMOに出向いた際、いつも通りにパラブーツのブースに出向きまして別注のミーティングを
行っておりましたところ、丁度ミカエルの創業フェアーを行なっておりまして、ミカエルでの別注を
相談しておりましたが、
僕自身、この日も履いておりますオイルヌバックのミカエルをかなり気に入っておりまして、
此の靴以上に感動させてくれるのは難しいかなと。
While visiting Pitti Uomo, I stopped by the Paraboot booth as usual to discuss a special order. They happened to be holding a promotional event for the “Michael” model, so we were talking about creating a custom version of it.
However, I am already so fond of the oiled nubuck Michael shoes I was wearing that day—
I felt it would be difficult to find a shoe that could impress or move me more than that one.
そこでミカエルの前身、モジーンで企画する運びに。
アッパーに乗せる皮革の条件を、担当のD氏に。
（オイルヌバックくらい僕が気に入りそうな奴）
（全天候で履ける）
（手入れ無しで経年変化も楽しめる）
D氏も、
（探してみますね！）と。
ミーティングは此の段階で終わりまして、其の後D氏がフランスの工場で見つけてくれましたのが、
So, we decided to develop the project under the “Mojine” label—the predecessor to “Michael.”
I outlined the specifications for the leather to Mr. D, who was in charge of the project:
(Something like an oiled nubuck that appeals to my taste)
(Suitable for all-weather wear)
(Develops a nice patina over time without needing maintenance)
Mr. D responded,
“I’ll see what I can find!”
The meeting concluded there, and what Mr. D subsequently discovered at a factory in France was…
こちらのオイルスウェード！
僕の好みにバッチリです。
それに何と数十年前にパラブーツで使われた皮革で、其の後使用される事も無く倉庫に眠っていたそうです。
即ち希少価値の高いデッドストックレザーになります。
其れも昔の皮革になりますので、現状の皮革より肉厚でしっかりとしております。
革も厚くて希少性も有って其の上全天候型！
もう言う事ありませんよね。
そして別注モデルも、現行のパラブーツの中では最古のモジーンになります。
1930年に生まれましたモジーンは、ほぼ100年前に誕生したモデルなんです。
This oil suede is absolutely perfect for my taste.
What’s more, the leather is actually stock that Paraboot used decades ago; it had been sitting in a warehouse, unused, ever since.
In other words, it is rare “deadstock” leather.
Because it is vintage leather, it is thicker and more substantial than the leather used today.
It’s thick, rare, and—on top of that—suitable for all weather conditions.
You really couldn’t ask for more.
As for the model itself, this special order is based on the “Morzine,” the oldest model in Paraboot’s current lineup.
The Morzine was created in 1930—a model that came into existence nearly a century ago.
踵部分の3本ステッチがモジーンの証になります。
従来、木こりの靴でしたので急斜面を登ったり木を切ったりと此の踵部分に負担が掛かっていたそうで、此の部分に
更に皮革を貼り付けてあったそうです。
其の名残でステッチのみが残されているのです。
さて、全貌のご紹介になります。
The three rows of stitching on the heel are a signature feature of the “Morzine.”
Originally designed as footwear for lumberjacks, these shoes had to withstand the strain of climbing steep slopes and felling trees; consequently, an extra layer of leather was applied to the heel area.
The stitching remains today as a vestige of that original design detail.
Now, let me introduce the shoe in its entirety.

一見、ワイルドな佇まいになりますが、

At first glance, it has a rugged appearance, but…
此のモカ縫い部分が、波状のピッキングが施されておりますので何か可愛い表情が生まれるのです。
そして此のモカ縫いが職人さんの手縫いになるのです。
The wavy stitching along the moccasin seam creates a charming, distinctive look.
Moreover, this moccasin stitching is done by hand by skilled artisans.
ミカエルにはピッキングも無くモカ縫いも機械縫いになります。
それからウエルトのデザインも全く違いましてモジーンのウエルトの方が凹凸がはっきりとしたウエルト
になります。
The Michael lacks the hand-stitched “picking” detail, and its moccasin seam is machine-stitched.
The welt design also differs significantly; the Morzine features a welt with much more pronounced ridges and grooves.
バックスタイルにも男臭い魅力がたっぷり表現されました1足になります。
こちらのサンプルも東京フェアーに持参させて頂きますので手に取って皮革の感触なども是非味わってみて下さい！
到着後、実店舗に置いておりますと来店されますお客様の殆どが、

色々説明いたしますと、帰り際に

早くも先行予約が。
こちらのボーイズマーケット別注オイルスウェードモジーンですが、デッドストックになりますので
作れる足数も限られており、生産足数に達した時点で予約は終了とさせて頂きます。
即ち早いもの勝ちと。
This pair exudes a rugged, masculine charm, even from the back.
We will be bringing this sample to the Tokyo Fair, so please pick it up and experience the texture of the leather for yourself!
Once it arrives at the shop, most customers who see it ask:
“What is this?”
After we explain the details, they often say as they leave:
“Please put me down for a reservation!”
We are already receiving advance orders.
Please note that this “Boys Market” exclusive oiled suede Mogine is made from deadstock material,
so the number of pairs we can produce is limited; we will close reservations once that limit is reached.
In short, it is first come, first served.

We commissioned D.C.White to create this piece using 100% cashmere, designed to pair perfectly with items like the denim Western shirts from Boys Market.
It also looks fantastic with country-style pieces, such as shawl-collar cardigans!
