肉厚さもフランネル程厚くは無く素材自身の落ちもありますのでシャツとしては本当に重宝して頂ける素材

になります。

其れもタッターソールになりますのでトラッド好きさんなどには堪らない素材ですね。

それでいてインポートのデッドストック生地ときましたら放っておけませんよね。

This is a deadstock cotton Viyella fabric from Getzner.

Viyella is a wonderful material—less fuzzy than flannel, yet it offers a gentle, cozy warmth against the skin.

It is not as thick as flannel and possesses a natural drape, making it an exceptionally practical choice for a shirt.

Furthermore, it features a Tattersall pattern—a detail that is sure to delight fans of the traditional, classic style.

お色もホワイトベースにネイビー＆ボルドーのタッターソールになりますので秋冬らしい柄行きになります。

お襟はスーパーソフトの芯を採用しており、製品完成後に水洗いも施しておりますのでフラシ芯みたいな

柔らかいロール感も演出されております。

芯でロール感を演出するのでは無くパターンでロール感も演出しておりますので首へのアタリ感なども柔らかくて

それからオーダーのドレス工場ならではのギミックも！

第一ボタンが、職人さんの手仕事に依ります根巻きされておりますのでボタンも掛け易くなっております。

痒い所に手が届くって奴ですね。

The top button is “shank-wrapped”—a detail crafted by hand—which makes it much easier to fasten.

自分自身の手で掛けにくい所のみ根巻きが施されております。

昔のメルセデスの精神にも似た縫製かと。

30年ほど前にメルセデスの190の2.6を購入した際、ヤナセの方から右のドアミラーは電動ですが、左は自分で

修正できるから電動ではないのです。と自分で出来る範囲の事は自分で行うのがメルセデス流と教えて頂きました。

メルセデスらしい！と変に感動させられたもんです。

現在のメルセデスは至れり尽くせりりになっておりますが。

今と違い30年ほど前は外車至上主義が罷り通っており、色々な神話が楽かった良い時代だったのかも。

又、脱線しそうなので面舵一杯と！

表身頃と後身頃を別々に巻きまして最後に脇を縫い合わせますので脇裾が断ち切りとなるのを防ぐ役目なんです。

現在の縫製では裾を一気に巻いてしまいますので断ち切り部分は存在しておらず飾りとしてガゼットを採用して

いるのが多いそうです。

While many garments today feature “pseudo” (decorative-only) gussets, the gusset used here serves a functional, essential purpose.

Because the front and back panels are hemmed separately before the side seams are joined, the gusset prevents the side hems from ending in raw, unfinished edges.

In modern garment construction, the hem is typically finished in a single, continuous operation—leaving no raw edges—which is why gussets are now frequently included merely as decorative elements.

脇縫いも手間の掛かります折伏せ縫いを採用しております。

それも此の細い幅での縫製はドレス工場ならではですね。

頑丈でそれでいて美しい縫製と云う事ありませんよね。

For the side seams, we employ a “felled seam” (or orifuse-nui) technique—a method that is quite labor-intensive.

Executing this on such a narrow seam allowance is a hallmark of a specialized dress-shirt factory.

It results in stitching that is both exceptionally durable and beautiful—truly the best of both worlds.

As you can see, this is the design we have adopted.

While it may look like a simple button-down shirt, the quality of the materials and the meticulous craftsmanship ensure it is an exceptional piece that you will be able to enjoy for a long time to come.

The fabric has been pre-washed, so you can safely launder it in your home washing machine without any risk of the size changing.

It is best to unfasten the collar buttons before washing; doing so helps prevent them from coming loose or falling off.

We leave the actual production of these fine shirts to the factory—our role is to decide how to “cook” (style and present) them!

気取らず肩肘張らず日常の色々なシーンでお楽しみ頂けるジャケットになります。

ジャケットと申しますと、何故か装いき的なイメージが強いかと思うのですが、コーチジャケットや

カバーオールみたいな着熟しで大丈夫なんです。

などに軽く羽織られるのも如何でしょう！
