1784年創業のイギリスのニットブランドJOHN SMEDLEYから秋冬の
カーディガンが入荷して参りました。
歴史も物凄く古く2013年にはイギリス王室御用達ブランドになり
今では知らない人の方が少ないブランドの1つです。
使用している素材も厳選された最高品質のニュージーランド産『エクストラファインメリノウール』を
使用することによって、滑らかで柔らかく軽い着心地でも保温力もある1枚に仕上がっております。
ウールなのでチクチクするイメージがありますが、熟練の職人による丁寧な撚糸を行うことによって
チクチク感やかゆみなどを感じる事が全く御座いません。
ディテールも全てパーツごとに編み立てを行い、最後にハンドリンキングで繋ぎ合わせることによって
自然な伸縮性が生まれ、出来上がり後には一度、洗いをかけ乾燥させプレスを行った後にネーム付け、釦付けなどの
35工程を職人さんが手作業で1枚1枚丁寧に仕上げており原材料から完成するまでに約1年ほどかかるカーディガンです。
今回は秋口から冬場にかけて着用して頂けるように少し暗めな3色になり
MIDNIGHT、SMOKE BLUEとDK COCOAとなります。
モデルはスタンダードで長年着用して頂ける『WELBECK』になり裾に向かって綺麗なシェイプが入り
クラシックな雰囲気が漂うモデルとなります。
着熟方もTシャツやBDシャツに合わせて頂いたり、ジャケットやスーツのインナーに着用して頂いたりもでき

JOHN SMEDLEY, an English knitwear brand established in 1784, has just received a new arrival of autumn/winter cardigans.
The history of JOHN SMEDLEY is so old that in 2013 it was granted the Royal Warrant of England, and it is one of the brands that few people know about.
By using “extra fine merino wool” from New Zealand, the material used is carefully selected and of the highest quality, making it a smooth, soft, lightweight and comfortable piece that also retains warmth.
Although wool has an image of being prickly, the careful twisting of the yarn by skilled craftsmen ensures that you will not feel prickly or itchy at all.
The details are all knitted by parts, and the natural elasticity is created by hand linking them together at the end. After the finished product is washed, dried, and pressed, the name is attached, buttons are attached, and 35 other processes are carefully finished one by one by hand. It takes about one year from the raw materials to the finished product.
This time, it is available in three slightly darker colors, MIDNIGHT, SMOKE BLUE and DK COCOA, so that it can be worn from the beginning of fall through the winter season.
