ですから蛮カラなアイビーリーガースの学生達にも受けたのでしょうね！

60年代に米国東海岸で大ブームを起こしましたのが、ホワイトリーバイス（かつらぎとピケ素材の5ポケット）

通称518品番になります。

写真集TAKE IVYを拝見しましてもアイビーリーグの学生が好んで履いておりますね。

此の時代、リーバイスが東海岸に進出したのですが、ジーパンは炭鉱夫が穿くパンツとしてアイビーリーガースには

受けいられなくて、ホワイトリーバイスと云う名称でピケ素材とかつらぎ素材で5ポケットのパンツを企画しました

ところ、其れがアイビーリーガースの間で大流行となった訳なんです。

ボーイズでも、かつらぎ素材やピケ素材で518は、企画しておりましたが、今年は、ピケ素材でトラウザーズを企画

してみました！

In the 1960s, White Levi’s (5-pocket pants made of Katsuragi and pique materials)

commonly known as 518 item number) became a big hit on the East Coast of the United States.

If you look at the photo book TAKE IVY, you can see that Ivy League students like to wear them.

In this era, Levi’s expanded into the East Coast, but jeans were not accepted by Ivy League students because they were pants worn by coal miners, so they planned 5-pocket pants made of pique and Katsuragi materials called White Levi’s.

Then, it became a big hit among Ivy League students.

We have also planned 518 for boys in Katsuragi and pique materials, but this year we have planned trousers in pique material!

The material is thick cotton pique.

These pants are tough enough to be worn daily.

僕的には、チノパンよりもコーディネィトし易いパンツだと思いますね。

デザイン自身は、ボーイズ別注ウェポンチノと同じデザインを採用しております。

ノープリーツの綺麗なシルエットのパンツになります。

It is an off-white color that promises all-purpose ripening.

Because it’s off-white and not pure white, I think it will be easy to wear even for first-timers.

Personally, I think these pants are easier to coordinate than chinos.

The design itself is the same as the boys’ special order Weapon Chino.

These are no-pleat pants with a beautiful silhouette.

サイドポケットはアイビー王道の縦切りを採用しております。

The side pockets feature the classic Ivy League vertical cut.

ヒップポケットはクオリティーの証の2mm幅の両玉縁ポケットになります。

The hip pocket is a 2mm wide double welt pocket, a sign of quality.

ベルトループも山高ループになります。

The belt loops are also high loops.

ユニバーサルの真鍮ジップを採用しております。

It uses a universal brass zipper.

パンツ裏の作り込みなども長年の相棒関係を築いて頂けるテーピング始末等の丁寧な作り込みになります。

The inside of the pants is carefully crafted with taping, ensuring a long-lasting friendship.

パンツのサイドの縫製もステッチワークで赤ミミを演出しております。

これが赤ミミと同じ作用をパンツに演出してくれる訳なんです。

洗うほどにサイドにアタリ感を演出してくれます。

ですからピケ素材のパンツもジーパン同様に経年変化もお楽しみ頂ける訳なんです。

The sides of the pants are also sewn with red selvedge stitching.

This gives the pants the same effect as red selvedge.

The more you wash them, the more the sides will develop a worn look.

So, just like jeans, you can enjoy the changes that occur over time with piqué pants.

This year’s classic boys’ fall/winter pea coat is back in stock!

I’ve yet to come across a pea coat that is more manly and yet creates a beautiful shape.

It goes well with the Italian-made Sealup long pea coat.

From the beautiful rise of the collar to the beautiful waist shape and the long sleeves, I don’t think there are many pea coats with such a three-dimensional shape.

I would definitely recommend this product to anyone looking for a pea coat.

It’s expensive, but I don’t think I’ll need to replace it in the future, so I think it’s a good deal in the end.
