此の手合いのお色での別注企画は色々と試みてきましたが、偶に展示会などで此のお色のお品を見かけますと
ついつい立ち止まって担当の方と長話が始まる訳なんです。
JOHN SMEDLEYの展示会でも、一番最初に此のお品に目が留まりまして自分自身の買い物の如く個人オーダー
までしてしまいました！
此のサックスにグレーを混ぜた様な独特のお色が、実はジーパンの濃いめでも薄めでもはたまたチノパン然り
ホワイトデニムまでも相性抜群なんです。
From ANDERSEN-ANDERSEN’s PETROLEUM to France’s Kanell and Italy’s DIEMME, we have tried various custom orders in this color, but when I occasionally see items in this color at exhibitions, I can’t help but stop and talk to the person in charge. At the JOHN SMEDLEY exhibition, this was the first item that caught my eye, and I even placed a personal order as if it were my own purchase! This unique color, which is like a mix of sax and gray, actually goes great with dark or light jeans, or even chinos, and even white denim.
そして、本日ご紹介のJOHN SMEDLEYの逸品ですが、通常のシーアイランドコットンではなく
IMPERIAL KASHMIRと言うレーベルになりまして、
85％シーアイランドコットンに15％カシミアがブレンドされている素材なんです。
高々15％と思われる方もいらっしゃるかと思いますが、
And the JOHN SMEDLEY masterpiece I’m introducing today is not made from regular Sea Island cotton,
but from a label called IMPERIAL KASHMIR,
which is a blend of 85% Sea Island cotton and 15% cashmere.
Some people may think that it’s only 15%, but
下が通常のシーアイランドコットンで上がIMPERIAL KASHMIRになりましてスウェーター自身がふんわりと
しているでしょう！
（通常BELDENなどのサマーニットは30ゲージでかなり薄べったく感じますが）
シーアイランドコットンでも充分な肌触りを体感して頂けると思いますが、
（シーアイランドコットンの着心地などご存じの方も多いと思いますが）
カシミアブレンドになりますと、滑らかさはそのままで、ふんわりとしたカシミア独特の着心地も
体感して頂けますね。
此の着心地などは最高の贅沢で、他人に表立って主張することなども無く着ている御本人のみが知る
贅沢感かと思います。
此の表立って主張の無い洋服こそ洒落者だと思うのです。
The bottom is regular Sea Island cotton and the top is IMPERIAL KASHMIR, so the sweater itself is fluffy! (Normally, summer knits such as BELDEN are 30 gauge and feel quite thin and flat.) I think you will be able to feel the texture of Sea Island cotton, but (I think many people know how comfortable Sea Island cotton is to wear), and with the cashmere blend, you will be able to feel the unique fluffy feel of cashmere while maintaining the smoothness. This comfort is the ultimate luxury, and I think it is a sense of luxury that only the wearer knows, without making a big deal out of it to others. I think that these clothes that do not make a big deal out of it are stylish.

少々ハードルの高そうな逸品ではありますが、軒並みのインポート製品の値上がりで通常のシーアイランドコットン
のニットと値段差も縮まっており、それじゃ！と清水から飛び降りる方も増えてきております。
飛び降りましても決して後悔の無いお品だと思います。
