They are a pair of shorts that have a strong American East Coast vibe.

イタリアはローマのCHESAPEAKESなんです。
イタリア人も僕達同様に米国文化すなわちアメトラが大好きな人種なんです。
ですから、こんな感じでアメリカ物よりアメリカっぽいお品を作り込まれる訳なんです。
In Italy, it’s CHESAPEAKES in Rome.
Just like us, Italians are a people who love American culture, namely American traditional fashion.
So that’s why they make products that look more American than American products themselves.
パンツの袋布にも、灯台のプリントが染み込みプリントで表現されております。
此のバミューダショーツのネーミングもナンタケットと、ボストンに有る島の名前が付けられています。
ボストニアンの避暑地として賑わう島になります。
其の島には昔ながらのこんな灯台が今でも健在しておりますので、CHESAPEAKESなりに東海岸をイメージして
演出されたのだと思います。
まあ、実際に今でも夏場にナンタケットなどに渡りますと、こんな感じのバミューダショーツを穿いた御仁が
レストランのテラス席でロブスターロールを頬張っておりますね。
完璧な東海岸の白人文化の島になります。
余談はこれくらいにしまして、パンツのディティールですが、
The lighthouse print is also printed on the inside of the pants.
These Bermuda shorts are named after Nantucket, an island in Boston.
The island is a popular summer resort for Bostonians.
The island still has an old lighthouse like this, so I think CHESAPEAKES created it with an East Coast image in mind.
Even now, if you go to Nantucket in the summer, you’ll see people wearing Bermuda shorts like this munching on lobster rolls on restaurant terraces.
It’s the perfect East Coast white culture island.

I’ll show you the whole picture first. The shorts will look something like this.
CHESAPEAKESのアイコン、ドッグタグがループに付いております。
The CHESAPEAKES icon, a dog tag, is attached to the loop.
そしてコインポケットも装備されております。
It also has a coin pocket.
こちらがバックスタイルになります。
This is the back style.
右のヒップポケットは両玉縁ポケットにボタン留め
Right hip pocket has double welt and button closure
そして左はフラップ付きポケットになります。
此の手合いのデザインはアメリカのトラウザーズには多いディティールですよね。
確かバリーブリッケンなども、此のディティールを採用してたと思います。
And on the left is a pocket with a flap.
This type of design is a common detail on American trousers.
I’m sure Barry Bricken and others also used this detail.

東海岸ボストンなどでは、此の手合いのホワイトバックスを履いている御仁も多いですね。
