僕も此のスタイルのショーツは10年近くfelcoでサマーコーデュロィで展開しているのですが、
（勿論、今年も登場しますが）
イタリアはローマのアメトラブランドCHESAPEAKESも同じディティールのショーツを作っておりました！
People who like fashion think the same way, no matter where they are.
I’ve been selling this style of shorts in summer corduroy at felco for almost 10 years now,
(and of course, they’re back again this year)
CHESAPEAKES, an American traditional brand from Rome, Italy, also makes shorts with the same details!

定番のベーカーパンツをショーツに仕立てた1本になります。
Here it is!
A pair of classic baker pants tailored into shorts.
フロントのポケットはベーカーパンツと同様貼り付けになります。
The front pockets are attached just like the baker pants.
ボタンフライになります。
It has a button fly.
此の様なドッグタグも装備されております。
It is also equipped with dog tags like this.
こちらがバックスタイルになります。
This is the back style.
ヒップポケットはパッチ＆フラップになります。
ベーカーパンツと同様にインベルが入っていないので着用されますとウエストやヒップ周りなども
伸びがございますので、
The hip pockets are patch and flap.
As with the Baker Pants, there is no inner velcro, so the waist and hips will stretch when worn.
其の際は、サイドアジャスターで調整して下さい。
左右に付いているので、一つで2.5cm約1インチ小さくして頂けますね。
ですから2インチまで調整可能となります。
In that case, please adjust it using the side adjuster.
It has side adjusters on both sides, so each one will make it 2.5cm (about 1 inch) smaller.
So it can be adjusted up to 2 inches.
パンツ裏には、アメリカ東海岸への憧れのプリントが為されておりますね。
ボストン南部のハイアニスやナンタケットでは未だに此の手合いの古い灯台が活躍していますしね。
何でもかんでも新しくしてしまうより使えるのなら古いものを大事に残していく考えも素敵だと思います。
トラディッショナルな街はやはり違いますね。
ボストン自身、日本で例えるなら京都に近い感覚で街の中心部は未だに煉瓦造りの建物が多数顕在しており
英国に近い街並みを形成しており、そこに湾が隣接しまして其の辺りはバックベイと呼ばれ素敵なレストランや
ホテルやマンションなど立ち並んでおります。
バックベイにノースエンドと云うイタリア人街も隣接しており、
其の街に知り合いが経営するイタリアンレストランEAT AT JOESがございまして、此のお店に因んで
僕の古着屋はBUY AT JOESと云うネーミングにしておりました。
1987年創業時はボーイズマーケットで古着屋を始めたのですが、アメリカ物の新品の商材やパリに在住する友人
の勧めでヨーロッパ物など展開するようになりまして、ボーイズマーケットはインポートセレクトショップに成り
アメリカ古着はジョーズで展開する用になりました。
現在はボーイズマーケットのみの展開となっておりますが、いつかは新品にヴィンテージ物なども魅せ展開したいなと
思ってはおります。
実現するには、難題も多くて現在３人で接客からHPの商品アップにお問合せの返信から出荷までこなしておりますが
これ以上の事を3人で展開するのは非常に難しくてそこを解決出来れば夢も叶うかなと日々思っております。

The back of the pants has a print of a longing for the East Coast of America.
In Hyannis and Nantucket, south of Boston, old lighthouses like this one are still in use.
I think it’s great to preserve old things if they can be used, rather than replacing everything with new ones.
Traditional towns are different after all.
Boston itself is similar to Kyoto in Japan, with many brick buildings still visible in the center of the city, forming a streetscape similar to that of the UK, and the bay is adjacent to it, and the area is called Back Bay and is lined with wonderful restaurants, hotels, and apartments.
Back Bay is also adjacent to an Italian town called the North End,
and in that town is an Italian restaurant run by an acquaintance, EAT AT JOES, so I named my vintage clothing store BUY AT JOES after this restaurant.
When we first opened in 1987, we started a second-hand clothing store at Boys Market, but we started selling new American products and European products at the recommendation of a friend living in Paris, and Boys Market became an import select shop, and American second-hand clothing was sold at Jaws.
Currently, we only sell at Boys Market, but we would like to someday sell new and vintage items as well.
There are many challenges to overcome, and currently the three of us handle everything from customer service to uploading products to the website, responding to inquiries, and shipping, but it is very difficult for the three of us to do more than this, and we think every day that if we could solve that problem, our dream would come true.
I’ve gotten quite off topic, so let’s move on!

になりますので、真夏にも涼しくそして洗い加工も施されておりますので新品時から柔くて本当に穿きやすい
状態となっておりますね。
These shorts are made of cotton chambray (a common material for chambray work shirts),
so they’re cool even in the middle of summer, and they’ve been pre-washed so they’re soft and really comfortable to wear
even when new.
そして此のシャンブレーブルーのお色はトップスとの相性も良くて色々な着回しに重宝して頂けると思います。
The chambray blue color goes well with tops, so you can wear it in a variety of different ways.
