デッドストックのシアサッカー素材で企画しました開襟シャツになります。
ホワイトとブルーとネイビーの清涼感漂います格子柄になります。
見た目にも涼し気ですが、素材がシアサッカーになりますので着用感も快適ですね。
This is an open-collar shirt made from deadstock seersucker material.
It has a refreshing checkered pattern of white, blue, and navy.
It looks cool, and because the material is seersucker, it’s also comfortable to wear.
トップボタンを開けますと、こんな感じの開襟シャツになります。
60年代のヴィンテージのシャツのディティールを採用致しました。
When you open the top button, it becomes an open-collar shirt like this.
It incorporates details from vintage shirts from the 60s.
お襟は袋縫になります。
ヴィンテージのレーヨンシャツやアロハシャツによくみられるデザインになります。
裁断されましたお襟部分を縫いましてひっくり返すと云う手法になります。
70年代に入ったら米国でもオートメーション化が進んで、此の様な手間の掛かる縫製は行われなくなって行きますね。
お襟の表裏を合わせてミシンで叩くと云う製法に変わっていきます。
70年代以降のシャツのお襟にはステッチが刻まれましたのが殆どかと思います。
The collar is sewn into a flat seam.
This is a design that is often seen on vintage rayon and aloha shirts.
The cut collar section is sewn together and then turned inside out.
In the 1970s, automation began to advance in the US as well, and this type of time-consuming sewing fell out of use.
The method changed to one where the front and back of the collar are joined together and sewn with a sewing machine.
I think most shirt collars from the 1970s onwards had stitching.

The small size fits me perfectly and gives a natural fit.
両胸にこちらも手間暇の掛かりますパッチ＆フラップポケットを採用致しました。
ですからデザイン的にはヴィンテージの60年代の開襟シャツになっております。
We’ve also added time-consuming patch and flap pockets on both sides of the chest.
So the design is reminiscent of a vintage 60s open-collar shirt.

開襟シャツになりますのでヨーク下にサイドプリーツを採用しております。
This is an open-collar shirt, so it has side pleats under the yoke.

両脇の裾にはサイドスリットを採用しました。
There are side slits on both sides of the hem.
椅子に座ったり車に乗った際に重宝して頂けますね。
パンツのポケットに手を入れたりする際にも。
さて着熟しですが、
It’s useful when you sit down in a chair or get in a car.
It’s also useful when you put your hands in your pants pockets.
Now that it’s ripe,
お手持ちのリンガーT-SHなどに羽織られるのもお勧めですね。
シャツのお襟からチラリと覗かせるだけでバタ臭いムードも演出して頂けますので。
We also recommend wearing it over a Ringer T-shirt that you already own.
Just letting it peek out from under the collar of your shirt will give off a casual vibe.
