60年代ヴィンテージ開襟シャツシリーズのご紹介になります。
今回ご紹介の一枚は、

ご覧の如くアイビー王道のダークマドラスになります！
僕もアイビーの洗礼を受けました中学時代には、夏と言えばダークマドラスのシャツにコッパン（コットンパンツの
略語で今で言うコットンポプリンのパンツです）に足元はダーティーバックスかデザートブーツでしたよね。
TAKE IVYの写真集など見ましてもダークマドラスは、シャツであれバミューダショーツであれスウィングトップ
など様々なウェアーで展開されておりますよね。
偏に涼しいと言うだけでは無く経年変化もお楽しみできるのが、此の素材の特徴の一つですね。
今年より来年、来年より再来年と時が過ぎる程に素敵に変化を遂げてくれるのです。
そして着心地自身も柔らかくなっていきましてついつい手が伸びてしまう訳なんです。
此の日本の猛暑などにはピッタリな一枚になってくれると思いますね。
さて、全貌ですが、
As you can see, it’s the classic Ivy League dark madras!
I was also baptized by Ivy League in junior high school, and when summer came around, it meant dark madras shirts and cotton pants (short for cotton poplin pants, now called cotton poplin pants), with dirty bucks or desert boots on my feet.
If you look at TAKE IVY’s photo books, you’ll see that dark madras is used in a variety of clothing, including shirts, Bermuda shorts, and swing tops.
One of the characteristics of this material is that it’s not just cool, but also changes over time.
It changes beautifully as time passes, from this year to next year, and from next year to the year after.
And it becomes softer to wear, so I can’t help but reach for it.
I think it’s the perfect piece for the intense heat in Japan.

I’m a big fan of it too, of course, but the proprietress has made it clear to me that (customers come first!)
That’s because it’s deadstock fabric, so there’s a limited quantity of each size.
I’m hoping there’s one left in my size.
僕でSサイズで自然なサイズ感になります。
The S size fits me naturally.
あまりにも綺麗に柄合わせが為されておりますので、胸ポケットが存在しないかの様に見えますよね。
The patterns are matched so beautifully that it almost looks like there is no chest pocket.
お襟はヴィンテージの意匠デザインになります袋縫を採用しております。
The collar has a vintage design and is stitched using a bag stitching technique.
こんな感じで表面に縫い目が無いのです。
昔は此の様に手間の掛かる縫製をされていたのですね。
そして通常の開襟シャツは台襟が存在しないですが、
There are no seams on the surface like this.
In the old days, sewing was done in a time-consuming way like this.
And while normal open-collar shirts don’t have a stand-up collar,
此の様に襟裏を見て頂きますと、お襟の後ろ部分が独特な縫い合わせになっているのがご理解して
頂けるでしょうか？
此の後ろ襟裏部分を生地を二重にしまして簡易的な台襟を作っているのです。
お陰様で、着用時にお襟の後ろが綺麗に首に沿って立ち上がってくれる訳なんです。
オーダーシャツ専業の工場さんならではのギミックとなります。

If you look at the back of the collar like this, you can see that the back of the collar has a unique stitching.
The fabric behind the back of the collar is doubled to create a simple stand collar.
Thanks to this, the back of the collar stands up nicely around the neck when worn.
This is a gimmick that can only be found in a factory that specializes in custom-made shirts.
This is a shirt that is full of sincerity, doing everything they can to make a great shirt.
We are always grateful to the factory manager, Suzuki-san in sales, and the workers who actually do the sewing.
両脇裾にはサイドスリットが設けられております。
実際に椅子に座った際や車の運転を為さる時にお役立ちしてくれますね。
There are side slits on both sides of the hem.
This will come in handy when you’re actually sitting in a chair or driving a car.

ヨーク下にはサイドプリーツが設けられております。
There are side pleats under the yoke.
此の手合いのシャツの意匠デザインになりますし実際に腕を前に伸ばす際にも重宝してくれますね。

お洗濯もハンガー干しして頂ければ、そのまま着用して頂けますね。
麻特有の皺感もお楽しみ頂ける一枚になります。
（一応洗い加工も施しておりますのでサイズ変更もございません）
