レインスプーナー初心者の方から玄人さんまでお楽しみ頂ける一枚になります！
僕が20代の頃初めてHawaiiに行った際、
（一度目は10代の頃、友人がLAに留学したので遊びに行った際、Hawaiiに途中下車しただけで
空気感や匂いは味わいましたが、如何せん空港の中でしたので）
一番ビックリしたのが、ローカルの方が皆さんレインスプーナーを着ている事でした！
ホテルの送迎のバスの運転手からホテルマンそれから銀行員までと。
僕もローカルの雰囲気を味わいたかったのでダウンタウンに有るレインスプーナーの直営店に出向きまして
数枚購入したのを今でも覚えています。
（多分、倉庫に眠っていると思うのですが）
次の日からはレインスプーナーで一日中過ごしておりました。
これ一枚でローカルになれたそんな気がしまして。
それ以上に此のスプーナークロスの心地良さに感動させられました。
ローカルの皆さんが愛用しているのが理解できましたね。
T-SHだと汗などで肌に張り付いたりと不快感が有るのですが、スプーナークロスはそう云う事も無く
快適に過ごせましたね。
今の日本の酷暑などにはもってこいの逸品だと思いますね。
朝夕の愛犬の散歩から家族で楽しむキャンプから花火大会それに波乗りまでと幅広くお楽しみ頂ける一枚かと！
さて、本日ご紹介の一枚は！
When I went to Hawaii for the first time in my 20s,
(The first time was when I was a teenager, when I went to visit a friend who was studying abroad in LA. I only got off the train in Hawaii,
so I got a feel for the atmosphere and the smell, but it was just in the airport.)
The thing that surprised me the most was that all the locals were wearing Reyn Spooner!
From the hotel bus driver to the hotel staff and bank employees.
I also wanted to get a feel for the local atmosphere, so I went to the Reyn Spooner store in downtown,
and I still remember buying a few pieces.
(They’re probably still in the warehouse.)
From the next day, I spent the whole day in Reyn Spooner.
I felt like I became a local with just one piece.
More than that, I was impressed by the comfort of this Spooner cloth.
I could understand why the locals love it.
With T-SH, sweat can make it uncomfortable and it sticks to your skin, but that didn’t happen with the Spooner Cross,
and I was able to stay comfortable.
I think it’s a great product for the extreme heat in Japan right now.
It’s a piece that can be enjoyed for a wide range of occasions, from walking your dog in the morning and evening, to camping with the family, to fireworks displays and surfing!

それはそれは凄い一日でした。
シアトルの湾に米軍の空母の船隊が入港して来まして、ジェットヘリが空母の上に星条旗を降ろしていくと云う
パフォーマンスと共に湾沿の至る所でジャズやらロックそれからレゲェーバンドが一斉に演奏を始めるのです。
そこからはシアトル市民が思い思いの場所でビール片手に楽しむと云う光景は目に焼き付いてしまいましたね。

For Americans, July 4th is a special day, and I experienced it in Seattle a long time ago,
and it was an amazing day.
A fleet of US aircraft carriers entered Seattle Bay, and a jet helicopter lowered the American flag onto the carriers
Along with the performance, jazz, rock, and reggae bands all started playing all along the bay.
The sight of Seattle citizens enjoying themselves with a beer in hand in any place they pleased was burned into my memory.
