製作を依頼しましたのは、
This is a piece that will make you think, “I never thought of this!”
We commissioned it to be made by,
皆様も良くご存知のハンドニットのロールスロイスとも呼ばれております英国INVERALLANになります。
一人の職人さんが約90時間を掛けて編み立てられるハンドニットになりまして、糸の調達から出荷まで昔は
約半年と言われておりましたが、現在ではおおよそ一年位掛かってやっと到着します。
手編みになりますので、一枚一枚全く同じ物は、存在しなくて手編みならではの暖かさも感じさせられますね。
手吊タグには、編み立ててくれました職人さんのサインも記載されております。
此のご時世に、こんな手間暇の掛かる事を行っているのは凄い事だと思いますね。
世の中、AIのニュースなど日々聞かされておりますが、人が人に関わってこそ商いは続いて行くと僕は思っています。
人工知能などに自分の人生を左右されるのは嫌ですし、失敗しても自分の決断なら仕方がない！と思えますしね。
おまけに人の色恋まで支持されるのは真っ平御免！
ひと目見て気に入ったら後は押しの一手！
もしフラれたら自分の魅力無さと自分磨きに邁進ですね。
そうやって男は自信を付けて行くものかと思っております。
すみません又自分の主観で暴走しまして、何故？こんな話になったのか自分でも困惑しております。
話はINVERALLANに戻しましてと、
此の様なハンドニットはいつまで続いてくれるのか？街のB級中華料理店が高齢で店を閉められて行くのを
見ておりますと心配になってきますね。
(以前、代理店の方とお話ししてたら10年有るかな？）などと仰ってましたので。
地元、徳島でも卵春巻きの旨かった店やもやし炒めが絶妙だった店それから、これぞ豚まんと思わせてくれた
お店など無くなっておりますので。
アッ！それから最高の青椒肉絲と最高の素揚げ肉団子のお店も無くなりましたね！
INVERALLANも無くならない様に微力ながら応援していこうと思っております。
さて、本日ご紹介のINVERALLANは、
This is INVERALLAN, a British brand known as the Rolls-Royce of hand-knitted items.
Each item takes approximately 90 hours to knit by a single artisan. While it used to take about six months from sourcing the yarn to shipping, it now takes roughly a year to arrive.
Because it’s hand-knitted, no two pieces are exactly alike, and you can really feel the warmth that only hand-knitted items can offer.
The hand-hanging tag also features the signature of the artisan who knitted it.
I think it’s amazing that they’re still doing such a time-consuming job in this day and age.
We hear about AI in the news every day, but I believe that business can only continue through human interaction.
I don’t want my life to be controlled by artificial intelligence, and even if I fail, I can accept it as my own decision!
Plus, I absolutely hate having someone else’s love life supported!
If you like it at first sight, it’s all you need to do!
If you get rejected, you should realize your own lack of appeal and work hard to improve yourself.
I think that’s how men gain confidence.
Sorry, I’m getting carried away with my own subjective opinions again. Why? I’m confused as to why we’ve ended up on this topic.
Going back to INVERALLAN,
How long will this kind of hand-knit business last? It makes me worry when I see the local B-grade Chinese restaurants closing due to aging.
(I was talking to an agent before and they said maybe 10 years left.)
Even in my hometown of Tokushima, the restaurants that made delicious egg spring rolls, the ones that made exquisite stir-fried bean sprouts, and the ones that made me think, “This is the real pork bun!”
Oh! And the restaurant that made the best green pepper and pork stir-fry and the best deep-fried meatballs is gone too!
I’ll do my best to support INVERALLAN, however small my contribution may be, so that they don’t disappear.
