米綿を使用致しましたオックスフォード生地のキャンディーストライプのボタンダウンシャツは
デニム同様に着込めば着込む程、体に馴染んできまして最高の着心地を体感して頂けると思います。
其の昔、古着を教えて頂いた先輩から（指の感触で生地を覚えろ！）とよく言われたもので。
古着の工場さんやスリフトショップなどで商品をピックする際、１日に2000枚位のシャツの中から
指裏の感覚だけでオックスフォード生地を抜いたものです。
其のオックスフォード生地のシャツのなからBROOKS BROTHERS物を選別するのです。
馴れれば１日に5000枚位のシャツの中から500枚位ピック出来る様に成りますね。
やはり其の当時からオックスフォード生地は、人気が高くて僕も41カーキなどにコーディネィト
しまして頻繁に愛用しておりました。
アメトラファンの中には質実剛健なオックスフォード生地を好む方は昔から多かったものです。
そんなオックスフォード生地の定番キャンディーストライプBDシャツを
Introducing the Boys Market exclusive candy stripe BD shirt.
This candy stripe button-down shirt is made from American cotton oxford fabric.
Like denim, the more you wear it, the more it will conform to your body, providing you with unparalleled comfort.
A long time ago, a senior colleague who taught me about vintage clothing often told me, “Learn the fabric by the feel of your fingers!”
When picking items at vintage clothing factories and thrift shops, I would select oxford shirts from the approximately 2,000 shirts I saw each day using only the feel of my fingers.
From among these oxford shirts, I would select BROOKS BROTHERS shirts.
Once you get used to it, you’ll be able to pick around 500 shirts from the 5,000 or so shirts you see each day.
Oxford fabric has been popular since those days, and I frequently wore it, coordinating it with items like the 41 khaki.
Among Americana fans, there have long been many who prefer the sturdy and simple Oxford fabric.
This classic candy stripe BD shirt is made from such Oxford fabric.

米国製時代のBROOKS BROTHERS同様に6ボタンになりますので第一ボタンを一つ開けて頂きますと
お襟も丁度良い開き加減になります。
胸ポケットは排除しましてこれ以上削り用の無いデザインになります。
Here’s the full look.
Like Brooks Brothers jackets made in the US, it has six buttons, so if you undo the first button,
the collar will open just enough.
The chest pocket has been removed, leaving no room for further trimming.
お襟の芯地もスーパーソフトを使用しておりますのでBDシャツの命綺麗なお襟のロール感なども
演出して頂けますね。
The collar interlining is also super soft, allowing you to create the beautiful roll of the collar that is the essence of a BD shirt.
バックのヨーク下にはアメトラ王道のセンターボックスプリーツが鎮座しております。
Under the yoke on the back is the classic Americana center box pleat.
昨今、飾りで着けている脇裾のガゼットも多いのですが、きちんと後ろ身頃と前身頃を別々に縫製しまして
最後に縫い合わせますので脇裾が断ち切りになりますのでガゼットが必要不可欠になる訳なんです。
最近では裾も一辺に走って縫う縫製が多いかと思います。
敢えてクラシックな手間暇の掛かります縫製で企画しております。

Nowadays, many garments have gussets at the side hems that are simply used for decoration, but the back and front are sewn separately and then sewn together at the end, so the side hems are raw and the gusset is essential.
Recently, hems are often sewn in a single stitch.
We’ve deliberately designed this garment using a classic, time-consuming stitching method.

お襟の第一ボタンなどは手縫いで根巻き仕様になっております。
The first button on the collar is hand-sewn with a root-wrapped finish.
カフスのボタンも同様に根巻きで着けております。
ボタンの掛け外しが安易に出来るよう細かな配慮の演出となります。
