今年の年初めにPitti UOMOに出向いた際、イタリアはローマのアメトラブランドCHESAPEAKES
のブースで、
Earlier this year, when I visited Pitti UOMO, I saw the Italian American traditional brand CHESAPEAKES at their booth.
社長から色々と商品についての蘊蓄など聞いておりましたところ、
As I was listening to the president share his knowledge about the products,
こちらのコーデュロィのカモフラージュが目に止まりまして、
This corduroy camouflage caught my eye,
此のコーデュロィのハンターカモのジャケットも素敵でした！

其のハンターカモのコーデュロィ生地で、
The Hunter Camo corduroy fabric,
ベーカーパンツを企画してみました！
こちらのカモフラージュは別名FLOGSKINとも呼ばれ米国の海兵隊が好んで着ていたそうです。
元々、牛蛙の模様から企画されたので此のネーミングでも呼ばれていたそうです。
其の当時海兵隊が趣味で鴨打ちをする際、此のカモフラージュを好んで着ていた事でハンターカモとも
呼ばれる様になったそうです。
結局どちらのネーミングも正しいと言うところです。
さてパンツの詳細を、
We’ve designed baker pants!
This camouflage is also known as FLOGSKIN and was apparently favored by the U.S. Marine Corps.
It was originally named after the bullfrog pattern.
At the time, Marines favored wearing this camouflage when duck hunting as a hobby, so it also came to be called Hunter Camo.
In the end, both names are correct.
Now, for the details of the pants:
フロントはクラシックなボタンフライの採用となります。
The front features a classic button fly.
ボタンもクラシックな猫目ボタンを採用しております。
The buttons are also classic cat’s eye buttons.
内側の腰裏にはブランド名がプリントされております。
The brand name is printed on the inside back.
ベーカーパンツになりますのでフロントのポケットはパッチポケットになります。
製品洗いも為されておりポケット周りにもエエ感じのパッカリングなど演出されておりますので
新品時から熟れたムードで着用して頂けますね。
These are baker pants, so the front pockets are patch pockets.
They’ve been pre-washed, and there’s a nice puckering around the pockets, so
They’ll look aged and stylish from the moment you wear them.
こちらのドッグタグもパンツに付いております。
上手いですよねイタリア人は、男心そそらせるのが！
This dog tag is also attached to the pants.
Italians are really good at arousing the male spirit!
こちらがバックスタイルになります。
This is the back style.
ヒップポケットはパッチ＆フラップになります。
The hip pockets are patch and flap.
着用されますと、こんな感じのシルエットになります。
イタリアのカジュアルなパンツに多く採用されております太腿周りにはゆとりを持たせまして膝から
裾に掛けてシュッとテーパードされております。
スタイルも良く見えて言う事無しのデザインですね。
丁稚などもそうなのですが、体育会系の方にはもってこいなデザインかと。
When worn, the silhouette looks something like this.
As is common in Italian casual pants, there’s room around the thighs, and they taper sharply from the knees
to the hem.
It’s a very flattering design and has no flaws.
It’s a great design for apprentices and other athletic types, too.
サイドは巻き縫いを採用しており、
The sides are made with rolled stitching,
こんな感じでパンツ自身を立体的に魅せてくれますね。
This makes the pants look three-dimensional.
ウエストのサイドにはアジャスターが装備されておりウエストが伸びましてもアジャスターで調整可能
になります。
（片方のアジャスターを一つ奥で止めて頂きますと約2.5cmほどウエストが小さくなります両サイドに
アジャスターが付いておりますので5cmほどウエストは小さくできますね。）
サイズ感ですが、
僕でRESOLUTE710を28インチでジャストで少しゆとりを持たせて29インチで穿いておりまして、
こちらのベーカーパンツは27インチの着用となります。
ですからRESOLUTE710のサイズ感より一サイズ下げたサイズで大丈夫かと。
例ですと29インチをジャストで穿いている方は28インチで大丈夫だと思います。
もしウエストが伸びた場合でもアジャスターで調整して頂けますね。
一応ご参考までに！
(If you turn one adjuster all the way back, the waist will be about 2.5cm smaller.
There are adjusters on both sides, so you can make the waist about 5cm smaller.)
As for sizing,
I wear the RESOLUTE 710 in a size 28 that fits me perfectly, with a little room to spare in a size 29.
These baker pants are in a size 27.
So, going down one size from the RESOLUTE 710 size should be fine.
For example, if a size 29 fits you perfectly, a size 28 should be fine.
If your waist stretches, you can just use the adjuster to adjust it.
