こんな感じでかなり多用途にお使い出来る一枚になります
僕が30代の頃パリのISLAND（シャツ専門店）などにかなりはまっておりまして
行く度に綺麗なオックスフォードのタッターソールやコットンヘリンボーンなど今までに見たことが
無いBDシャツに惹かれまして数枚購入しておりました。
未だに倉庫のどこかに有ると思うのですが。
2ヶ月に一度ペースで渡仏しておりましたのでかなりの枚数のBDシャツを購入しましたね。
それまでBDシャツと言えばボストンを拠点に古着のピックをしておりましたのでブルックスブラザーズ
かラルフローレンで購入しておりまして、パリのISLANDのウィンドーに釘付けになったのを今でも覚えて
おりますね。
購入しましたBDシャツの中でも一番愛用しておりましたのが、コットンのモールスキンのBDシャツなんです。
お色はオフホワイトで真っ白じゃないところが、又憎い一枚でしたね。
其の当時は、エディーバウアーのオールパーパスのインナーにモールスキンのBDシャツなど着込みまして
Levisのデッドストック物のジーパンにウェストンのローファーやゴルフシューズなどコーディネィトして
おりました。
ニットなどはパリのOLD ENGLANDで英国物の綺麗な発色のシェットランドなどBDシャツに合わせて
フランスにかぶれておりましたね。
When I was in my 30s, I was obsessed with shops like ISLAND (a shirt specialty store) in Paris.
Every time I went, I was drawn to the beautiful Oxford tattersall and cotton herringbone BD shirts I’d never seen before, and I’d buy several.
I think they’re still in storage somewhere.
I went to France every two months, so I bought quite a few.
Until then, I was based in Boston and picked out vintage BD shirts, so I’d buy them from Brooks Brothers
or Ralph Lauren. I still remember being captivated by the display at ISLAND in Paris.
Of all the BD shirts I bought, the one I loved the most was a cotton moleskin BD shirt.
The color was off-white, not pure white, which made it even more special.
At the time, I wore Eddie Bauer All-Purpose underwear and moleskin BD shirts.
I coordinated deadstock Levis jeans with Weston loafers and golf shoes.
I bought knitwear from OLD ENGLAND in Paris, pairing it with beautifully colored British Shetland BD shirts.
I was obsessed with France.

製品完成後に水洗いを施しておりますので、ご家庭の洗濯機で回されてもサイズの変更はございませんので

割と肉厚なのですが、タフな素材を洗い込む事に依り張り腰はあるものの、肌触りは柔らかくなっております。
そして素材の表面は独特の滑っとした質感がございます。（モールスキン独特の質感ですね）
それでいて洗い込む程に表面に毛羽立ちが現れまして、次第に白茶けてきますね。
ここまで来れば完成品ですね。
手放せなくなりますよ！
素材自身もタフな素材なのでご安心下さい。
This is the cotton moleskin BD shirt.
It’s washed after production, so even if you put it in your home washing machine, the size won’t change.
Don’t worry!
It’s quite thick, but washing this tough material gives it a firm, yet soft feel.
The surface of the material also has a unique, smooth texture (a texture unique to moleskin).
However, the more you wash it, the more fuzz will appear on the surface, and it will gradually turn white-brown.
Once it gets this far, it’s a finished product.
You’ll never want to let it go!

お襟にはスーパーソフトの芯を採用しておりますので、此の様な綺麗な立体的なロール感も演出して
くれますね。
お洗濯後にハンガー干しされる際に前立て部分を上から指でなぞってあげまして其の後お襟をクルッとロール
させて干されますと、乾燥後其のまま着用して頂けますね。
The collar is made with a super-soft core, which creates a beautiful, three-dimensional roll.
When hanging it up after washing, run your fingers over the placket, then roll the collar up.
Then, after drying, you can wear it as is.
素材の持つ自然な皺感も演出できますし、前立て部分も適度なあたり感のみ残りましてお襟も綺麗にロール
されますね。

ドレス工場ならではのギミックが、第一ボタンは根巻きしておりまして掛けやすくなっております。
職人さんの手作業の賜物ですね。

カフスのボタンも同様で掛けやすく配慮されております。
シンプルな物ほどこういう手の込み様が着心地を左右するのだと思いますね。

I think the simpler something is, the more important it is for it to have these kinds of details to affect its comfort.
脇裾のガゼットも見せかけじゃございません！
昔ながらの縫製で前身頃と後身頃を別々に縫製しまして最後に脇を縫い上げるので裾が立ち切りになるので
必要不可欠となる訳なんです。
脇の縫製にしましても手の掛かります折伏せ縫いを採用しております。
ですから長年のご愛用にも充分ご満足して頂けると思いますね。
The gussets at the side hems aren’t just for show!
