こちらが全貌になります！
オヤっ！パッチワーク？
いえ違うんです！
実は織でパッチワークに織っているのです。
プリントじゃ無いので経年変化もお楽しみ頂けると思います。
素材は、コットンフランネルでしょう？
いえ違うんです！
Wガーゼと言う素材でガーゼ素材を2枚貼り合わせまして肉厚さを演出しているのです。
其のガーゼ素材がコットン100％になります。
其のコットンが、BCIを通して購入されたコットンになります。
BCIとは、
（持続可能なより良いコットンを開発する組合になりまして、綿花生産者の暮らしや綿花が育つ環境など
綿花産業のより良い未来を目指す団体になります）
一言で言えばサスティナブルですね。
そんな拘り深い素材でBDシャツを企画してみました！
中々お目に掛からない素材でしょう！

Oh! Patchwork?
No, it’s not!
It’s actually woven into a patchwork.
It’s not a print, so you can enjoy watching it change over time.
The material is cotton flannel, right?
No, it’s not!
It’s a material called double gauze, where two pieces of gauze are glued together to create a thick texture.
The gauze is 100% cotton.
That cotton is purchased through BCI.
BCI is
(An association dedicated to developing better, more sustainable cotton, aiming for a better future for the cotton industry, including the lives of cotton producers and the environment in which cotton is grown.)
In a word, it’s sustainable.
We’ve designed a BD shirt using this carefully crafted material!
It’s a material you won’t see very often!
Now, for details,
ネッ！パッチワークに見えるでしょう！
全て織での表現になります。
そしてフランネルの様な毛羽立ちや心地良い肌触りも実現しております。
そもそもガーゼ素材を張り合わせて有るので着心地は良いのが当たり前。
製品完成後に洗い加工で毛羽立ちも表現しましてコットンフランネルか？と思わせる出来栄え。
See! It looks like patchwork, doesn’t it?
It’s all woven.
It also has the same fuzziness and comfortable feel as flannel.
It’s made by laminating layers of gauze material, so it’s only natural that it’s comfortable to wear.
The product is washed after completion to create the fuzziness, making it look like cotton flannel.
お襟の芯はスーパーソフトになりますのでこの様な柔らかい綺麗なロール感も実現しております。
The core of the collar is super soft, which allows for a soft, beautiful roll.
首の当たりも良くてロール感も美しいです。
ご家庭で洗濯の後、ハンガー干しにされる際に、お襟をクルッとロールさせて前立てを上から裾に掛けて
伸ばしてあげておきますと、乾燥後そのまま着用して頂いても大丈夫ですね。
お襟も自然なロール感が演出されております。
It fits comfortably around the neck and has a beautiful roll.
After washing at home, when hanging it up to dry, roll the collar and drape the placket over the hem.
If you stretch it out, you can wear it as is after it has dried.
The collar also has a natural roll.
そしてこれが熟練の職人さんの手仕事！
第一ボタンは根巻きしております。
And this is the handiwork of a skilled craftsman!
The first button is wrapped with roots.
カフスのボタンも同様に根巻きしておりまして掛け外しが安易に出来る様に配慮しております。
ドレス工場さんならではの配慮ですよね。
The cuff buttons are also wrapped in the same way to make them easy to fasten and remove.
This is a thoughtful touch that you’d expect from a dress factory.

折伏せ縫いと２度手間な縫製になります。
それも此の細いピッチでの縫製。
There are other touches you can only find in a dress factory!
This involves double stitching, with a folded seam.
And it’s done with such a fine pitch.
脇裾に配備されておりますガゼットなども必要不可欠なんです。
昨今見せかけのガゼットも多いのですが、
前身頃と後身頃を別々に縫製しまして最後に縫い合わせますので脇裾が断ち切りになるのを
防いでいるのがガゼットなんです。
その他にも補強と言う意味もありますが。
The gussets at the side hems are also essential.
These days, there are a lot of fake gussets,
but the front and back pieces are sewn separately and then sewn together at the end, so the gussets prevent the side hems from being unfinished.
They also serve as reinforcement.
