Pitti UOMOのCeccarelliのブースで此の生地を見つけまして、
I found this fabric at the Ceccarelli booth at Pitti UOMO.
こちらの生地が中々優れもので、イタリアのトスカーナ地方で織られておりますキャセンティーノと
呼ばれておりますウール生地になりまして、通常キャセンティーノ生地は服好きさんならご存じかと
思われますが、生地の表面がフリースっぽい雰囲気の表情をしているのですが、其の毛羽立ちを刈り込み
ましてメルトンみたいな表情に仕立てております。
Manifattura Ceccarelliが生地から企画しました素材になります。
毛羽立ちを刈り込み事に依、雨天時などでも撥水性を発揮してくれる天然の高機能素材となります。
やはりウール生地になりますので強い雨などの場合は生地に染み込みますが、コットンの裏地の中には、
This fabric is truly exceptional. It’s a wool fabric called Casentino, woven in the Tuscany region of Italy. While fashion enthusiasts are likely familiar with Casentino, its surface typically has a fleece-like texture. However, this fabric has been trimmed to create a melton-like texture. This is a fabric designed by Manifattura Ceccarelli from the ground up. By trimming the fuzz, this fabric becomes a naturally water-repellent, highly functional material, even in rainy weather. Since it’s wool, heavy rain will soak into the fabric, but the cotton lining helps prevent this.
イタリアの羊毛を使用しました羊毛パッドが挿入されておりますので、中までは雨の侵入はございませんね。
此の羊毛パッドも優れ物になりまして、ダウン同様の保温性もありまして極寒の冬場などでも問題無く対応
してくれるのです。
ですからヨーロッパの方々などは、こちらのフィッシャーマンパーカーを本当のアウトドアーウェアーとして
着用されております。
そこいらへんは、米国のFILSON同様なのかなと思います。
其れも其の筈、デザイナー兼社長のジュリアーノ氏は、FILSON ITALYを手掛けておりました方なので
物作りに関しては信頼のFILSON同様に信頼して頂けると思いますね。
僕も真冬にはManifattura Ceccarelliの色々なアウターを愛用しておりますが、相棒五郎との雨の降る夜の散歩
などには大活躍してくれております。

さて今回のモデルですが、
The jacket is lined with wool padding made from Italian wool, so rain won’t get inside.
This wool padding is also excellent, providing the same warmth as down, making it perfect for even the coldest winter weather.

お袖付けは機能性重視でラグランスリーブを採用しております。
The sleeves are raglan sleeves for functionality.
メインの腰ポケットの上部には、
