今日はバッグの王道をご紹介させて頂きますね。
御多分に洩れず本日ご紹介のバッグも英国製になります。
英国物は、品質の維持や普遍性それから完璧なアフターケアーと正に一生物と成り得る逸品が
多いですね。
物を使い込み長年愛用されるお国柄なんでしょうね。
日本自身も第二次世界大戦で負けるまでは、英国などに近い国民性だったと思いますね。
着物なども自分のみならず孫の代まで洗い張り仕立て直しをしまして使い込む文化など英国に近い
感覚だと思いますね。
ワックスコットンのジャケットなども3代に渡って使用などは常みたいですしね。
スーツやジャケットなども未だに仕立て直ししまして愛用するそうですから。
素敵な文化ですよね。
米国の大量消費とは全く大違いですね。
大量消費するから古着も大量に排出されるのだと思います。
其の米国の古着をヨーロッパや日本のバイヤーが血眼になって探しているのも不思議な文化ですよね。
英国にしてもフランス然りイタリアなどもアメリカ文化に憧れを持っているのは確かだと思いますね。
特にイタリア人などは、RaybanからSEBAGOなどと全て商標を取り続けておりますので。
SEBAGOなどもイタリアが商標取りますとイタリアの主だったお店で必ず展開が始まりますね。

It seems common for waxed cotton jackets to be passed down through three generations.
It seems that suits and jackets are still often re-tailored and worn.
It’s a wonderful culture, isn’t it?
It’s completely different from mass consumption in the US.
I think mass consumption leads to a huge amount of used clothing being discarded.
It’s a strange culture, isn’t it? European and Japanese buyers are desperately searching for American vintage clothing.
It’s true that people in the UK, France, and Italy also have an admiration for American culture.
Italians in particular continue to hold trademarks for everything from Rayban to SEBAGO.
Whenever Italy holds a trademark for something like SEBAGO, it’s sure to start being sold in major Italian stores.
