英国などでは歴史も浅いブランドになりますが、創業者のChris Blackmore氏がサヴィルローの
チェスターバリーの仕立て人出身で本当の意味での英国製に拘りをもったカントリーウェアーを
手掛けております。
其の素晴らしさは製品をひと目見れば頷けますね。
洋服好きの玄人さん受けする逸品だと思いますね。
工房で働く職人さん達もサヴィルロー出身者が多くて今では珍しいハンドカッティングや手縫いなどを
駆使しまして立体的な物作りを行なっております。

While the brand has a short history in the UK, founder Chris Blackmore is a former tailor at Chesterbury on Savile Row, and is committed to producing truly British-made country wear.
One look at the products will convince you of their excellence.
These are exceptional pieces that will be a hit with fashion connoisseurs.
Many of the artisans working in the workshop are also from Savile Row, and they utilize techniques like hand-cutting and hand-stitching, which are rare these days, to create three-dimensional pieces.

This is the mackinaw coat I’d like to introduce to you today!
(I already wear this coat myself, and it’s been professionally washed.)
As a result, it has puckering and other imperfections.
着用しますとこんな感じになります。
此のコートの元ネタは、第二次世界大戦次の米軍のジープコートになります。
通称M 38と呼ばれており1938年に導入されたモデルになります。
本物にはウエストベルトがございますが、こちらはベルトはございません。
割とゆったりと自然なサイズ感で着用するコートになりますので。
This is how it looks when worn.
This coat is based on the US military jeep coat worn after World War II.
It is commonly known as the M 38 and is a model introduced in 1938.
The real thing has a waist belt, but this one does not.
It is a coat that is worn fairly loosely and with a natural fit.
お襟は本物の羊毛を使用しております。
実際滅茶苦茶首元が暖かいです。
The collar is made from real sheep’s wool.
It’s incredibly warm around the neck.
こちらの表生地は英国製BLISBANEMOSSのキーツと呼ばれておりますコットンツィルになりまして
目付け400グラムになります。
中々ここまでのコットンツィルはお目に掛かりませんね。
しかし手触りは滑っとしたウールの質感さえ味わえます。
BLISBANE MOSSは、ウールの織り機でコットンを織り上げておりますので此の独特の質感を
表現出来るのです。
The outer fabric is a British-made BLISBANE MOSS cotton twill called Keats.
It weighs 400 grams.
It’s rare to find a cotton twill of this quality.
But the feel is almost smooth and wool-like.
BLISBANE MOSS weaves cotton on wool looms, which is why we are able to achieve this unique texture.

裏地は英国MOON社のシェットランドツィードが貼られております。
The lining is made of Shetland tweed from the British company MOON.
保温力も充分にございますね。
It also has plenty of heat retention.
袖裏は袖通しの良いキルティング仕立て。
お袖も暖かいですね。
The inside of the sleeves are quilted for easy slip-on and the sleeves are warm too.
内ポケットも大容量ですので海外出張などの際パスポートやカードケースなども安全に持ち運びが
可能となります。
The large interior pocket allows you to safely carry your passport and card case when traveling abroad.
左右両サイドにございますので必需品などはコート内に全て収納が可能になりますので街の散策なども
手ぶらで行えますね。
Since it’s located on both sides, you can store all your essentials inside the coat, so you can walk around town hands-free.
ボタンは天然の本水牛になりますのでひとつづつ違うのも魅力の一つになります。
The buttons are made from genuine natural water buffalo horn, so each one is unique, which is one of the charms of this bag.
コートの裾ですが、表面と裏面を縫い合わせておりません。
着用時に上下にずれて破れるのを防ぐ為だそうです。
此の様にかなり手間暇を掛けました逸品となります。
The hem of the coat is not sewn together at the front and back.
This is apparently to prevent it from shifting up and down when worn and tearing.
As you can see, a great deal of time and effort has gone into making this exquisite item.
