I woke up early on a holiday and went surfing. After returning home, I enjoyed a glass of chilled white wine on my terrace and took a leisurely walk in the park with my dog.
I finally woke up and had brunch with my beloved girlfriend on the terrace of a seaside restaurant!
It will be the perfect piece for such a casual holiday.

LAのVenice beachの入り口に有る素敵な看板からサンセットを見た際の背景を参考にしたデザイン
だそうです。
Venice beachは、僕が初めて留学した友人を訪ねて渡米した際、其の友人が住んでいたのがVenice beachの真正面
の平家のコテージだったのです。
空港に迎えに来てくれた友人は僕を彼の愛車トランザムに乗せて彼の住むVenice beachへ！
電動の門が付いた半地下の駐車場に車を停めて上に上がりますと、
何とプールと椰子の木が！
そして芝生が敷かれました庭園に彼の住むコテージが！
平家と言いましても日本では2階建ての建物で感動の坩堝でした。
すぐさま、家の前のVenice beachに出向きますとVenice beachのサインと建物に描かれた大きな壁画に感動でした。
日本では考えられないビーチタウンに衝撃を受けたのを今でも覚えておりますね。
古着屋さんも、AAADVARKSからZooなど色々なお店がありまして毎日出向き色々な古着を買っておりました。
正直、新品のお品は学生の僕には中々高嶺の花でした。
未だ1ドルが360円の時代でしたので。
又話が脱線しておりますので面舵一杯と！

As for what goes in the pocket—well, in my case, it holds my Eyevol glasses, reading glasses, and a pack of Hi-Lite cigarettes with a big lighter.
What I really love is the print on the pocket itself!

Apparently, the design was inspired by the view of the sunset seen from the wonderful sign at the entrance to Venice Beach in LA.
Speaking of Venice Beach, when I first traveled to the US to visit a friend who was studying abroad, he was living in a single-story cottage right across from the beach.
He picked me up at the airport in his beloved Trans Am and drove me to his place in Venice Beach!
We parked in a semi-underground garage with an electric gate and headed up…
…only to find a swimming pool and palm trees!
And there stood his cottage in a garden laid out with a lawn!
Even though it was called a “single-story cottage,” by Japanese standards it was the size of a two-story house—I was absolutely blown away.
I immediately headed out to Venice Beach right in front of the house, where I was struck by the famous sign and the huge murals painted on the buildings.
I still remember the shock of experiencing a beach town unlike anything imaginable in Japan.
There were various vintage shops, too—places like Aardvarks and Zoo—and I’d visit them every day to buy all sorts of used clothing.
To be honest, brand-new items were pretty much out of reach for a student like me.
After all, this was back when the exchange rate was 360 yen to the dollar.
But I’m getting sidetracked again, so let’s steer things back on course!
