もうご存知ですよね！

Trujillosのラグベストになります。

You’re already familiar with this, right?

It’s a Trujillo’s rug vest.

こちらは裾がスクエアータイプになります。

This one features a square hem.

胸には伝統的なネィティブな柄が施されました逸品となります。

チマヨベストは数社が作っておりますが、MADE IN USAの糸で織られているのはTrujillosのみとなっており

10年着用しましても糸切れが起こる事も無くて本当に一生物としてお使い頂けるのです。

其れも其の筈で、本業はサンタフェなどにございます高級ホテルのエントランスを飾る絨毯が本業となります。

ですから手間なベストを作るより絨毯を織っている方が本当は商売的に旨味もございます。

ですから直接、ニューメキシコのチマヨまで足を運び交渉の末何とか毎年作ってくれているのです。

今年も来年の企画を此の26日から丁稚が持参しましてチマヨまで出かける予定です。

It is a masterpiece with a traditional native pattern on the chest.

Chimayo vests are made by several companies, but Trujillos is the only one that is woven with yarn made in the USA.

Even after wearing it for 10 years, the threads never break, so you can really use it for a lifetime.

As expected, our main business is making carpets that decorate the entrances of luxury hotels in Santa Fe and other areas.

Therefore, it is actually more profitable to weave carpets than to make vests, which is a time-consuming process.

That’s why they go directly to Chimayo in New Mexico and after some negotiation, they manage to make it every year.

This year as well, we are planning to go to Chimayo from the 26th with plans for next year.

Here is how it looks when worn.

As you can see, it pairs perfectly with items like this vintage-style work shirt—a Boys Market exclusive designed using deadstock CANCLINI fabric.

此のコンチョボタンもTrujillosのオリジナルボタンとなります。

中々雰囲気の有るボタンですね。

This concho button is also an original Trujillo’s button.

It certainly has a great look to it.

他社のラグベストと大きく違う点は丸胴になっておりますので着心地などのストレス軽減となりますね。

生地の裁断の際に此の手法ですと無駄が出ると思うのですがTrujillosは創業当時から此の手法で行っているそうです。

A major difference compared to other brands’ rug vests is the use of tubular construction, which reduces discomfort and makes them more comfortable to wear.

While this method would seem to result in fabric waste during cutting, I understand that Trujillo’s has employed this technique since its inception.

背には大きなネイティブのスターと云う柄行きが施されております。

此のスターは一番ベーシックな柄になります。

The back features a large “Native Star” pattern.

This star is the most classic design.
