The fabric used is deadstock from CANCLINI.
It is a 100% cotton Oxford cloth that has been indigo-dyed, allowing you to enjoy how the material’s texture and color evolve over time.
オックスフォード素材になりますのでオールシーズンお楽しみ頂けます。
こんな感じにボーイズマーケット別注コットンヘリンボーンのバミューダショーツなどとも相性抜群ですね。
Made from Oxford cloth, these are suitable for wear throughout the seasons.

The chest pockets are arranged asymmetrically, as you can see here.
It also features a chin strap at the collar; the design and construction involved a highly labor-intensive process.
Since it is made of indigo-dyed Oxford cloth, I have been washing and sun-drying this sample myself to enjoy how it ages over time.
写真では分かりにくいかと思いますが、随所にアタリ感なども演出されお色も実は少し薄くなっております。
東京フェアーにはサンプルも持参しますので新品と比べてみれば一目瞭然かと！
It may be hard to tell from the photos, but the fabric shows signs of wear—such as fading—in various places, and the color has actually lightened slightly.
I’ll be bringing a sample to the Tokyo Fair, so the difference will be immediately apparent if you compare it to a brand-new item!

After the garment is fully constructed, it undergoes a washing process that softens the rugged hickory denim, offering the comfortable, lived-in feel of a vintage piece right from the start.
The color has also been treated so that the navy stripes are slightly faded, creating a natural, authentic look.
閂止めも随所に行っておりエエ感じのアクセントになっておりますね。
脇マチもヴィンテージ仕様になっております。
Bar-tacking has been applied at various points, serving as a nice accent.
The side gussets also feature vintage-style detailing.

こちらのジャケットのデザインですが、僕がPitti UOMOでフィレンツェに出向いた際、ヴィンテージ屋さんで
今は亡きFILSON ITALYのジャケットをハンティングしまして林さんに作って頂きました。
FILSON ITALYは皆様、良くご存知のManifattura Ceccarelliのオーナー兼デザイナーでも有るジュリアーノ氏が
手掛けておりましたブランドになりアメリカのFILSONには無い洒落たデザインの逸品が多かったですね。
此のショールカラーカバーオールもヴィンテージ物からデザインを参考にさせて頂きました。
ですからボーイズマーケットのみのデザインになります。
そして此のジャケットの生地なんですが、コットン100％のヘリンボーンになります。
僕的にコットンツィードと呼んでおり、生地の表面には起毛感も有りそれでいて肌触りもウールの様な
チクチク感も無いので本当に着やすい素材になります。
御家庭の洗濯機で洗えるのも嬉しい限りですよね。
Regarding the design of this jacket: I came across a piece from the now-defunct FILSON ITALY line at a vintage shop while visiting Florence for Pitti Uomo, and I had Mr. Hayashi recreate it for us.
FILSON ITALY was helmed by Giuliano—the owner and designer behind the well-known Manifattura Ceccarelli—and produced many exceptional items featuring stylish designs not found in the American FILSON collection.
We used a vintage piece as the design reference for this shawl-collar coverall jacket.
As a result, this is a design exclusive to Boys Market.
As for the fabric, it is a 100% cotton herringbone.
I personally refer to it as “cotton tweed”; the surface has a brushed texture, yet it feels soft against the skin—without the itchiness often associated with wool—making it incredibly comfortable to wear.
It is also a great bonus that it can be washed in a standard home washing machine.

For this release, I asked Mr. Hayashi to create a jacket that can be worn as a matching set with the trousers.
The trouser design is identical to the “Weapon Chino” model made exclusively for Boys Market.
The sizing is the same as well, so you can stick with your usual size.
Since the finished product undergoes a washing process, there is no need to worry about the size changing after you wash it at home.
The advantage of wearing it as a suit is that simply pairing it with a T-shirt, thermal shirt, or flannel shirt creates a stylish, sophisticated look.
If you are ever unsure about how to style it, just throw on whatever inner layer you like—
You’ll find that it looks great with almost anything.
That is likely because the color is a charcoal gray herringbone.
Of course, the items are sold separately, so you are welcome to purchase just the jacket on its own.
