僕もサンプルが届いた時点で、

此のPitti UOMOのミーティング後にフランスのパラブーツの工場に出向いて頂きまして、
30年ほど前のオイルドスウェードの皮革をトレジャーハンティングして頂きましたので。
即ちデッドストックレザーになります。
ですから現代の皮革と違い肉厚で台田氏からも、
（一生物ですよ！）とお墨付きを頂いております。
モデルもミカエルのプロトタイプとも呼ばれております生誕100周年をそろそろ迎えますMOZINEになります。
1930年に誕生したパラブーツ最古のシューズだそうです。
After the Pitti Uomo meeting, a visit was made to the Paraboot factory in France,
where we went on a “treasure hunt” for oiled suede leather dating back some 30 years.
In other words, this is deadstock leather.
Unlike modern leather, it is thick and substantial; Mr. Daida himself
has given it his seal of approval, calling it a “lifetime piece.”
The model is the “Mozine”—often referred to as the prototype for the famous Michael—which is fast approaching its 100th anniversary.
It is said to be the oldest shoe model from Paraboot, having debuted in 1930.
ですから履き込み口も広くて2ホールになりますのでパラブーツの中では一番エエ加減な靴と言われております。
アヴィニョンみたいにきっちり足を包み込んでくれる感じではなくて、甲の部分でしっかり固定して頂いて履く
感じですね。
ミカエルなどお手持ちの方には分かって頂けると思うのですが。
Because the opening is wide and it features a two-eyelet design, it is often said to be the most “laid-back” or relaxed shoe in the Paraboot lineup.
It doesn’t give you that sensation of snugly wrapping around the entire foot like the Avignon model does;
instead, the fit relies on securing the shoe firmly across the instep.
I think anyone who already owns a pair of Michaels—or similar models—will understand exactly what I mean.
皮革は毛足の長いスウェードにオイルを染み込ませましたオイルドスウェード！
ですから雨天時などにも履いて頂ける全天候型となります。
The leather used is an oiled suede—a long-nap suede infused with oil.
This makes them an all-weather shoe that you can wear even in the rain.
ミカエルとの大きな違いはモカ縫い部分がピッキングレザーで波状の皮革を職人さんが手縫いされております。
A major difference from the Michael model is the moccasin stitching; artisans hand-sew the wavy leather section using the “picking” technique.
ミカエルには波状は無くてミシン縫いになります。
それからウエルトの形状も全く違いますね。
MOZINEの方がよりはっきりしたウエルトになります。
The Michael does not feature the wavy stitching; instead, it uses standard machine stitching.
The welt shape is also completely different.
The Mozine has a much more distinct welt.
MOZINEの意匠デザインの3本ステッチ！
昔木こりが、木に靴を添えて切っておりましたので、此の部分が二重の皮革になっていたそうです。
それが3本ステッチとして現在使われております。
The MOZINE design features a distinctive three-stitch detail!
It is said that lumberjacks used to brace their boots against the trees they were felling, so this area was reinforced with a double layer of leather.
That detail lives on today in the form of this three-stitch design.
ミカエルにはそれが有りません。
判別できる大きな特徴になります。
現状MOZINEは、あの茶色しか生産はされていないので、かなり貴重なモデルになると思います。
Michael does not have that feature.
It serves as a key distinguishing characteristic.
Currently, MOZINE is only produced in that brown color, so I believe it is quite a rare model.
ソールはミカエルと同様のマルシェⅡソールを採用しております。
安定感の有るソールになります。
勿論、10年後のソール交換なども可能となりますので、一生物としてヘビーローテーションして下さい！
It features the Marche II sole, the same type used on the Michael model.
It is a sole that offers excellent stability.
Naturally, the sole can be replaced even ten years down the line, so you can wear it in heavy rotation as a lifelong companion.
そんな訳でかなり魅力的な1足かと思います。
それからデッドストックレザーになりますので、100足しか生産出来ないと言われておりますので、
ご予約が100足に達した時点で、最終予約日で無くても予約は打ち切りとさせて頂きます。
新たに皮革を生産する事は不可能ですので。
何卒ご了承お願いします。
即ち、早い者勝ちとなります。
そして一番大事な着熟しですが、僕もサンプル到着後に色々な装いを試しておりますが、かなりオールマイティー
にお楽しみ頂けると思います。
先ずは、ホワイトデニム！
For all these reasons, I think this is a truly appealing pair of shoes.
Also, since they are made using deadstock leather, production is limited to just 100 pairs.
Consequently, we will close pre-orders once we reach that 100-pair limit, even if the official deadline hasn’t yet passed.
It is impossible to produce more of this specific leather, after all.
We ask for your understanding in this matter.
In short, it is a first-come, first-served situation.
As for styling—which is the most important part—I’ve been experimenting with various outfits since the sample arrived, and I believe they are incredibly versatile.
To start with, try pairing them with white denim!

It really sharpens up a white denim outfit for autumn and winter.

We designed this piece using deadstock cotton flannel to pair perfectly with items like the Boys Market exclusive 88-cotton ringer T-shirt.
It also looks great worn with a coverall shirt.
洗濯及び天日干しを重ねましてヴィンテージのベーカーパンツみたいな雰囲気に仕上がってきました
FAR EAST MANUFACTURINGのベーカーパンツなどにも相性抜群となります。
ですからMOZINEはストレートのパンツから裾幅広めのパンツまでなんでもござれと重宝して頂けますね。
After repeated washing and sun-drying, it has developed an aesthetic reminiscent of vintage baker pants.
It pairs perfectly with items like FAR EAST MANUFACTURING’s baker pants.
That makes MOZINE a versatile choice that works well with everything from straight-leg cuts to wide-hem styles.

We commissioned a special order for a “freedom-sleeve” sweatshirt from the French brand CONCHON for next spring, and the sample has just arrived—so I tried it on!

It goes well with outfits such as 3A cardigans.

It pairs beautifully with items like the linen chambray work shirt—designed with inspiration from a 1970s BIG MAC chambray shirt—as well as the Fisherman Parka, which we had custom-made using Manifattura Ceccarelli’s buffalo wool.
