此の生地を生地倉庫で発掘致しまして、僕自身が着てみたくてサンプルアップさせて頂きまして

此の春夏に頻繁に着用しまして、

I discovered this fabric in our fabric warehouse; wanting to wear it myself, I had a sample made up.

I ended up wearing it quite frequently throughout this spring and summer.

向かって左が新品になります。そして右が春夏に愛用しましたサンプルなんです。

経年変化が分かって頂けますか！

The one on the left is brand new, while the one on the right is a sample that I wore regularly throughout the spring and summer.

Can you see how it has aged?

ズームアップさせますと、よく分かって頂けると思います。

エエ感じでしょう！

実はインディゴ染の生地になります。

ですから、此の様な経年変化がお楽しみ頂けるのです。

If you take a closer look, I think you’ll see exactly what I mean.

Pretty great, right?

It’s actually made from indigo-dyed fabric.

That’s why you can enjoy this kind of aging process over time.

Naturally, this is a piece from BOYSMARKET SHIRTSMAKER.

こちらが今回製品化に漕ぎ着けました一枚！

ドット柄みたいに見えますが、実は角が丸い正方形柄なんです。

Here is the design that we’ve successfully brought to product form!

It might look like a polka-dot pattern, but it’s actually a pattern of squares with rounded corners.

生地はデッドストックのCANCLINIになります。

The fabric is deadstock from CANCLINI.

60年代のヴィンテージワークシャツを参考に企画してみました！

We designed this piece by taking inspiration from 1960s vintage work shirts!

お襟には、

On the collar,

男好きされますチンストラップも採用しております。

It is designed to appeal to men and also features a chin strap.

そして此の左右非対称なポケットデザインも特徴の一つになります。

And this asymmetrical pocket design is another one of its distinctive features.

此の様にマチも設てございます。

此の左右非対称なポケットの縫製も工場さん泣かせなんです。

いつも僕の我儘に付き合わせて本当頭が下がる思いです。

此のサンプルも一度じゃ無くて二度サンプルアップも行って頂いており、製品化するまでに大変な苦労話が。

それはさておきましてと、

As you can see, a gusset has also been incorporated.

The stitching for these asymmetrical pockets is quite a challenge—it’s the kind of detail that really gives the factory a hard time.

I’m truly grateful that they’re always willing to put up with my demanding requests.

In fact, we went through two rounds of sampling for this piece, and the journey to getting it ready for production involved quite a lot of hard work.

But, moving on…

We have opted for vintage-style cat’s-eye buttons.

ワークシャツになりますのでサイドプリーツの採用となります。

此の工場さん泣かせな一枚ですから、一流シェフになったつもりで料理させて頂きますね。

As this is a work shirt, it features side pleats.

This piece is quite a challenge for the workshop—a real “headache” for the craftspeople—so I’ll approach it with the same care and precision as a top-tier chef preparing a dish.

To begin with, there’s some layering going on—for instance, with a hand-dyed indigo Trujillo’s rug vest.

I also recommend styling it with a pair of white denim jeans—a bespoke model from Boys Market—to create a relaxed, effortless look.

For footwear, we’ve collaborated with the Italian brand DIEMME on a version in a striking turquoise blue—a color that pairs perfectly with both indigo and white.

We commissioned D.C.White to craft this piece using the finest Mongolian cashmere—it would make an excellent choice for a smoking jacket, among other styles!
