VANで育った中学生時代からヘビーデューティーアイビーなどで高校時代にはアメリカのアウトドアーウェアー

などに惹かれまして色々なアメリカ物に手は出したのですが、其の当時新品では中々半袖スウェットの存在は

全く知りませんでした。

其の後、アメリカの古着にハマりまして、初渡米した際、LAの古着屋で発見しましてそれからと言うものは

半袖スウェットフリークに！

其の当時は、色々なアメリカの昔のブランド（McGREGORやJANZENそれからWHITE STAGG etc)のスウィング

トップに半袖スウェットにLevis518にデザートブーツなどのスタイルに傾倒しておりましたね。

何故か？昔から長袖スウェットよりも半袖スウェットに惹かれておりました。

色々なヴィンテージの半袖スウェットを所有しているのですが、特に

Growing up with VAN in middle school, I was drawn to heavy-duty Ivy League style, and in high school, I became fascinated with American outdoor wear.

I tried out various American items, but at that time, I was completely unaware of the existence of new short-sleeved sweatshirts.

Later, I became hooked on American vintage clothing, and on my first trip to the US, I discovered them in a vintage clothing store in LA. Since then, I’ve been a short-sleeved sweatshirt freak!

At that time, I was devoted to a style that included swing tops from various old American brands (McGREGOR, JANZEN, WHITE STAGG, etc.), short-sleeved sweatshirts, Levi’s 518s, and desert boots.

Why? I’ve always been more drawn to short-sleeved sweatshirts than long-sleeved ones.

此のリブがボーダー柄になっているスウェットは特別感も僕にはありまして大好きなアイテムなんです。

どうしても今回作りたかったのでリブからオリジナルで製作させて頂きました。

This sweatshirt with the striped ribbing has a special feel to it, and it’s one of my favorite items.

I really wanted to make this one, so I had the ribbing custom-made.

スウェットのお色は3色になります。

先ずは、

The sweatshirt comes in three colors.

胸にはネイビーでUNIVERSITY MALIBUが刷られております。

極々スタンダードなカレッジプリントになりますね。

Classic white!

“UNIVERSITY MALIBU” is printed in navy on the chest.

A very standard college print.

真夏にも着用して頂ける裏毛仕様になります。

汗なども充分に吸収してくれますし、T-SHみたいに表面に汗染みが出ないのも嬉しい限り！

This garment features a brushed fleece lining, making it perfect for wearing even in the height of summer.

It absorbs sweat effectively, and unlike T-shirts, it won’t show sweat stains on the surface, which is a great bonus!

僕でSサイズでゆったりとしましたサイズ感になります。

The S size fits me comfortably.

お襟にはオリジナルのホワイト＆ネイビーのボーダーリブが配備されております。

The collar features original white and navy striped ribbing.

お袖口のリブも同様になります。

The same applies to the ribbing at the cuffs.

D.C.Whiteのダブルブレストブレザーなどにコーディネィト為さるのも如何でしょう！

How about coordinating it with a double-breasted blazer from D.C.White?

FEMのファティーグパンツなどにジャランスリワヤにタバコスウェードで別注しましたクレープソールの

ローファーなども良くお似合いになりますね。

These loafers, specially ordered from Jalan Sriwijaya in tobacco suede with a crepe sole, would also look great with FEM fatigue pants.

They would also look fantastic with these loafers.

こちらのお色もヴィンテージのスウェットのお色を参考にして作りましたセージグリーン！

多分、元色はもっと濃いグリーンだったと思いますが、此の色褪せたセージグリーンのお色目が大好きで

企画させて頂きました！

This color, sage green, was also created by referencing the color of a vintage sweatshirt!

I think the original color was probably a darker green, but I love this faded sage green color, so

I decided to create this color!

裾にはボーイズマーケットのアイコンも鎮座しております。

The Boys Market icon is also prominently displayed at the hem.

This is what it looks like when worn.

此のリブがエエ感じのアクセントになってくれるのです。

そこが通常のソリッドのリブのスウェットよりも好きな理由かもしれません。

The ribbing on this sweatshirt adds a nice accent.

That might be why I prefer it to regular solid-color ribbed sweatshirts.

ヴィンテージのジャングルファティーグなどにも良くお似合いになりますよ！

It would also look great with vintage jungle fatigues!
