アッ！と思われた方も、どこかで見た覚えが有る！と思った方も多いのではないでしょうか。
波乗りをされる方はご存じのサーフィン映画Endless Summer！
サーファーで無い方もご存じの方は多いかと思いますね。
それだけ、此の映画のポスターの影響力は大きいと思いますので。
何故なら、此の映画のポスターを手掛けましたのは、ジョン.ヴァン.ハマーズヴェルド！
彼はカリフォルニアのSurfer Magazineのデザイン担当をしており其の当時のサーフアートに影響を残した人物で
他にもビートルズやボブディランそれからジミーヘンドリックスなどのジャケットやポスターなども手掛けていた
方なんです。
此のEndless Summerのポスターなども色々な雑貨店などにも置かれており、一度は見た事も有ると云う方も多いかと
思いますね。
丁度The Endless Summerが公開されましたのが1966年になりまして今年が公開から60周年と云う事も有りまして
太平洋のブルックスブラザーズReyn spoonerとのコラボレーションが行われた次第です。
今でこそフリーサーファーと競技思考で無いサーファーのライフスタイルを描いたフィルムなど多々ございますが
此の当時、たった三人で世界中の最高の波を求めて旅をしながらフィルムを回すのは画期的だったと思いますね。
リアルサーファーのマイクヒンソンとロバートオーガストそれから撮影から監督まで行いましたブルースブラウン
の生み出した映画The Endless Summerは世界中で大ヒットとなった訳なんです。
サーファーの方は勿論
（欲しい！）と思われる方も多いかと思いますが、
サーファーで無い方も勿論リミテッドエディションになりますのでコレクターズアイテムとしてコレクション
されるのも宜しいかと！
Many of you likely had a moment of recognition—thinking, “Oh!” or “I’ve seen that somewhere before!”
Surfers are certainly familiar with the surfing film The Endless Summer!
But even those who don’t surf likely know it, too.
That is a testament to the immense impact of the film’s poster.
After all, the poster was created by John Van Hamersveld!
He was the designer for California’s Surfer Magazine and a figure who left a lasting mark on the surf art of that era.
He also created album covers and posters for legends like The Beatles, Bob Dylan, and Jimi Hendrix.
You can find the The Endless Summer poster in various lifestyle shops, so I imagine many of you have seen it at least once.
The Endless Summer was released in 1966, and with this year marking the 60th anniversary of its debut,
a collaboration has been launched with Reyn Spooner.
While there are countless films today depicting the lifestyles of free surfers and those who don’t focus on competition,
back then, it was truly groundbreaking for just three people to travel the globe in search of the best waves while filming.
Created by real-deal surfers Mike Hinson and Robert August, along with Bruce Brown—who handled everything from filming to directing—
The Endless Summer became a massive global hit.
Naturally, many surfers will likely want to get their hands on this,
but since it is a limited edition, it also makes for a fantastic collector’s item—
even for those who don’t surf!
