実は1970年代にハワイで人造人間キカイダーが大ブームになっていたのをご存じですか？
(キカイダー自身、ご存知無い方もいらっしゃるかと）
毎週土曜日にKIKU TVで放送されていたそうです。
其の当時、子供達は当然ですが、大人も一緒になって観ていたそうでハワイでも社会現象の一つと
言われていたそうです。
ですから、
Did you know that the Android Kikaider was a huge hit in Hawaii in the 1970s?
It was apparently broadcast every Saturday on KIKU TV.
At the time, not only children but also adults watched it together, and it was said to be a social phenomenon in Hawaii.
Therefore,
こちらのコラボレーション商品は、ローカルでの販売目的に作られたそうで、其の後EXPORTも行う事に
なったそうです。
This collaboration product was apparently created for the local market, but it was later decided to export it as well.

This piece was created by Mr. J—an in-house artist based in Hawaii—who took a design from his sketchbook and applied it to the fabric using a unique printing method.
