清水から飛び込まれても後悔させませんので！

今まで色々なお品の別注を企画してきましたが、

今回の逸品はかなりの自信作です。

僕の後悔させないシリーズ！と命名させて頂きますね。

先ずはブランド紹介から、

I’ve planned custom orders for various items up until now, but

this latest creation is something I’m very confident in.

I’m going to name it my “You Won’t Regret It” series!

First, let me introduce the brand.

アメリカそれもウェスタンの本場のテキサス州で200年近い歴史を誇るブーツメーカーになります。

現在MADE IN TEXASのウェスタンブーツはRIOS OF MERCEDESのみとなっております。

それだけ貴重な存在になっているシューメーカーにOEMを依頼するブランドも多くて、其の中には

ラルフローレンのダブルアールエルなどもございます。

ダブルアールエルのブーツは全てRIOS OF MERCEDESが作っているそうです。

他にも色々な蘊蓄はございますが、

ご存じの方も多いかと思いますウェスタンブーツの最高峰ブランドRIOS OF MERCEDESにローパーブーツを

別注致します。

何故今回の別注はウェスタンブーツじゃなくてローパーブーツなのか？

ウェスタンブーツになりますと、やはり装い自身も幅が狭くなりますしディリーに使用するとなると中々コアな

方しか難しいと思いましてローパーブーツをセレクトさせて頂きました！

ローパーブーツは今でも行われておりますローパー競技に使用するブーツになりますので馬から飛び降りて走って

牛を縛り上げるとかなりハードなスポーツに使用しますので機能性も充分にございます。

先ずウェスタンブーツより少しハイトも低く踵も低めの設定になります。

This boot manufacturer boasts a history spanning nearly 200 years in Texas—the true heartland of American Western style.

Currently, Rios of Mercedes is the only manufacturer producing Western boots that are truly “Made in Texas.”

As a shoemaker of such rare distinction, they handle OEM production for numerous brands,

including Ralph Lauren’s RRL (Double RL).

In fact, it is said that all RRL boots are manufactured by Rios of Mercedes.

While there is plenty more to be said about their heritage,

we have commissioned a special order for “Roper” boots from Rios of Mercedes—a brand widely recognized as the pinnacle of Western boot making.

Why did we choose Roper boots instead of traditional Western boots for this special order?

We felt that traditional Western boots can limit one’s styling options and—for daily wear—might appeal only to the most dedicated enthusiasts;

that is why we opted for the Roper boot style.

Roper boots were originally designed for the “roper” competition—a grueling sport requiring the rider to jump off the horse, run, and hog-tie a calf—

so they offer exceptional functionality and durability.

To start with, they feature a lower shaft height and a lower heel compared to standard Western boots.

其れからデザイン自体がシンプルなので色々な装いにもすんなりお似合いになると思います。

どんなに高価な物を購入しましても使用頻度が少ないのでは経年変化も中々味わう事も出来なくなると思いまして

ローパーブーツでの別注に決定させて頂きました。

僕自身がローパーの方が好みと云うのも有りますが。

其れからアッパーに使用する皮革も、Horween社のRust Crazy Rough out leatherを指定致しました。

表革ではなく、革の裏面（床面）を起毛させたラフアウト仕様になっており、オイルをたっぷりと含んだ「クレイジーホース」の赤茶色（ラストカラー）特有の深い色合いと、ラフアウトならではの経年変化（エイジング）が魅力です。

ホーウィン社のラフアウトレザーやクレイジーホースに関する特徴・ポイントは以下の通りです。

傷が目立ちにくい
表面が起毛しているため擦り傷などが付きにくく、もし傷が付いてもブラッシングや指の油分で馴染ませることで目立たなくすることができます。

高い耐久性と撥水性
クレイジーホースはフルグレインレザーに特殊なオイル・ワックスを塗り込んでいるため、本来非常にタフで撥水性にも優れています。裏面（ラフアウト）を使用することで、通常の銀面（表面）付きスエード よりもさらに肉厚で頑丈な仕上がりとなり、過酷な環境下での使用にも耐えられます。 

プルアップによる独特のムラ感
折り曲げたり引っ張ったりすると内部のオイルが移動し、色が明るく変化する「プルアップ効果」が特徴です。これにより、使い込むほどに濃淡（エイジング）が生まれ、ヴィンテージ感が増していきます。

Additionally, the design itself is simple, so I think it will go well with a variety of outfits.

No matter how expensive something you buy, if you don’t use it often, you won’t be able to enjoy it as it ages.

We decided to make special order with roper boots.

Although I personally prefer Roper.

We also selected Horween’s Rust Crazy Rough out leather for the leather used for the upper.

It has a rough-out design in which the back side (floor surface) of the leather is brushed instead of the outer leather, and the deep red-brown color (last color) of “Crazy Horse”, which contains plenty of oil, is attractive, as is the aging effect that is unique to rough-out leather.

The features and points about Horween’s Rough Out Leather and Crazy Horse are as follows.

Scars are less noticeable
The brushed surface makes it difficult to get scratches, and even if you do get scratches, you can make them less noticeable by brushing them or blending them with oil from your fingers.

High durability and water repellency
Crazy Horse is full-grain leather coated with special oil and wax, making it extremely tough and water repellent. By using the back side (rough out), it has a thicker and more durable finish than normal suede with a silver side (front side), and can withstand use in harsh environments.

Unique uneven feeling caused by pull-ups
It is characterized by a “pull-up effect” in which when you bend or pull it, the oil inside moves and the color changes brightly. As a result, the more you use it, the more it becomes shading (aging) and becomes more vintage.

Because the sole is wrapped around the foot, the instep is set lower than that of regular leather Roper boots.

Therefore, it is a single piece of leather.

Normal boots have an inner lining, but since we use Horween’s rough suede, even a single piece of leather can be used.

丁稚です！

明日から8月4日まで渡米しましてニューメキシコからLAそしてシアトルと色々な別注企画のミーティングに

出かけてきます。

本日の商品アップのローパーブーツですが本来明日アップの予定でしたが、移動でアップが不可能な為に急遽本日

アップさせて頂きました！

中々、高価なお品になると思いますが、本当の意味での本物になりますので決して後悔は無いかと思います。

一生の内に履かない時期はあるかもしれませんが、又履きたくなって履き始めたりと。
