昨今、ビジネスシーンでも、とんと出番が少なくなってきましたネクタイのご紹介です。
寂しい時代になりましたよね。
夏でも長袖シャツを捲って少しタイを緩めて仕事をされる姿ってカッコ良かったのですが、
最近は皺も入らない半袖シャツにおまけにノーネクタイ。
洒落っ気もあったもんじゃございませんね。
他にもポリエステルのT-SHに皺も入らないポリエステルの簡易的なスーツにスニーカーなども
何か勘違いされているのでは？
でも買う側より作る側に罪が有ると思いますね。
四季折々の天然素材に身を纏い経年変化や皺などを楽しまれるのが装いかと思いますので。

It is a rather sad state of affairs, isn’t it?
There was a certain coolness to the sight of a man working in a long-sleeved shirt with the sleeves rolled up and the tie slightly loosened…
But these days, it is all about wrinkle-free short-sleeved shirts and going tie-less.
There is simply no sense of style to be found in that.
Then there are the polyester T-shirts, the cheap, wrinkle-free polyester suits, and the sneakers…
One has to wonder if they have completely misunderstood the concept of dressing well.
Ultimately, however, I believe the fault lies more with the manufacturers than with the consumers.
After all, true style is about clothing oneself in natural materials suited to the changing seasons and appreciating how they age and develop character—such as the way the fabric wrinkles over time.

I’ve put together an outfit inspired by the French Traditional style that was popular in the 90s.
It’s one of my personal favorite looks.

We commissioned a special version of the “FRANK SHIRTS” model from the Rome-based American-traditional brand Dejavu iconic, using deadstock cotton flannel from Canclini.
These shirts pair beautifully with a wide range of styles—from the “coverall shirt” we developed from scratch to the Casentino wool hunting jacket we commissioned from the Florentine country-wear brand Capalbio.
