東京フェアーでも最近ジャケットをオーダーされる方が増えてきておりまして、
やはり世の中のカジュアル化が進んでいるのだなと、感じておりました。
それならと思いまして、D.C.Whiteの石原氏とミーティングを行いまして
もっと手軽にオーダージャケットを楽しんで頂くことは出来ないものか？と。
そこで、石原氏から、
D.C.WhiteのHarborのモデルで着丈とお袖丈それから身幅を調整してお届けするのは？と。
ご提案頂きまして、それならもっと身近にオーダーをお楽しみ頂けるのではと来月の2日から開催の東京フェアー
で展開させて頂きます。
既製品の場合でお客様がサイズ悩まれるのは、殆ど着丈とお袖丈が多いので、そこを解消出来れば
ご自分の体型にバッチリ沿うジャケットを楽しんで頂けるのではと思いまして。
そして生地は何にする？と云う2段階目のミーティングでは、
即座に（コーデュロィ！）と。
もうネイビーブレザーなどはお手持ちの方も多くて、秋冬にカジュアルにお楽しみ頂けるのは僕的には
コーデュロィかなと思いまして、
We’ve noticed an increasing number of customers ordering jackets at our Tokyo fairs recently,
which really drove home the fact that the world is becoming more casual.
With that in mind, I met with Mr. Ishihara from D.C. White
to discuss how we might make the experience of ordering a custom jacket more accessible and enjoyable.
Mr. Ishihara suggested
taking the D.C. White “Harbor” model and adjusting the body length, sleeve length, and body width to the customer’s specifications.
I thought this would be a great way to make custom tailoring feel more approachable, so we’ve decided to offer this service
at the Tokyo fair starting on the 2nd of next month.
When buying off-the-rack, customers most often struggle with body and sleeve lengths;
I figured that if we could resolve those issues,
they could enjoy a jacket that fits their physique perfectly.
Then, during the second meeting—where we discussed fabric choices—
I immediately said, “Corduroy!”
Many people already own staples like navy blazers,
and personally, I felt that corduroy was the perfect choice for a casual autumn/winter look.

生地はスペインのBODEGA社のコーデュロィを使用させて頂きます。
英国のBRISBANE MOSSなどより軽くて柔らかくて新品時から小慣れた雰囲気でお楽しみ頂けます。
We will craft this item using this beige corduroy!
For the fabric, we are using corduroy from the Spanish mill BODEGA.
It is lighter and softer than British options like Brisbane Moss, offering a relaxed, lived-in feel right from the start.
それから袖裏などもお好みの裏地をお選び頂けます。
You can also choose your preferred lining for the sleeves.
ボタンも水牛からメタルまでとお好みに合わせてお楽しみ頂けますね。
こちらも採寸しましてサイズサンプルを着用して頂きまして修正後確認して頂きますのでお時間も1時間ほどは

Based on my own experience, I find that this particular shade of beige is the easiest to coordinate among all the corduroy options.
こちらのジャケットですが、副資材（芯や肩パッド）一切無しで縫製のみで形成させております。
中々、縫製のみで立体的にジャケットを形成させるのは難しくて工場泣かせとでも申しましょうか。
作れる工場も少ないですね。
Regarding this jacket, it is constructed entirely through sewing, without the use of any internal components such as interlining or shoulder pads.
Creating a three-dimensional jacket shape solely through stitching is quite difficult—it is the kind of task that really challenges the factory.
There are very few factories capable of producing it.

身幅も多少ウエストをマークしておりますが、こちらもお好みで調整は可能となります。
The fit is slightly tailored at the waist, though this can also be adjusted to your preference.
通常のHarborはセンターベントになりますが、僕的にはサイドベントが好みなのですが、センターベントも
お好みでセレクトは可能となります。
The standard Harbor model comes with a center vent; while I personally prefer side vents, you can choose a center vent if you prefer.

トラウザーズのポケットに頻繁に手を入れられる方などはサイドベントの方が魅え方は綺麗ですね。
