JOHN SMEDLEYから春夏にぴったりなカーディガンが入荷して参りました。
皆様もご存知の通り、JOHN SMEDLEYの春夏カーディガンはコットンはコットンでも
シーアイランドコットンを使用しておりますので、カシミヤのような肌触りやシルクのような
光沢感が特徴的な糸となります。
また、他のコットンよりも細く長い糸になりしなやかな風合いと抜群の吸湿性もあり
使用している糸も非常に細い30ゲージで編む事によって身体に馴染みます。
ディテールも全てパーツごとに編み立てを行い、最後に全てハンドリンキングで行う事によって
伸縮性を持たせます。
出来上がり後には一度、洗いをかけ乾燥させてからプレスを行った後にネーム付け、釦付けなど
35工程を職人さんが手作業で行い1枚1枚丁寧に仕上げております。
今回はシーズンカラーのBEIGE MUSKというインポート臭いブラウンベージュカラーで
合わしやすいお色になります。
サイズ感もスタンダードフィットで大き過ぎずまた細過ぎないサイズ感になるのでTシャツ1枚や
シャツなどにも合わせて頂けますのでONOFF兼用で着用して頂けると思います。

JOHN SMEDLEY has just received a new arrival of cardigans perfect for spring and summer.
JOHN SMEDLEY's spring/summer cardigans are made of Sea Island cotton, which has a cashmere-like feel and a silky sheen.
The yarn is longer and finer than other cottons and has a supple texture and excellent moisture absorbency, and the yarn used is knitted in a very fine 30 gauge to fit the body.
The details are all knitted by hand, and the final hand-linking process gives the garment elasticity.
After the garment is finished, it is washed and dried, then pressed, and 35 processes, including naming and buttoning, are done by hand by craftsmen to carefully finish each piece.
The product is in the seasonal color BEIGE MUSK, an imported smelly brown-beige color that is easy to match.
The size is a standard fit, not too big or too thin, so it can be worn with a T-shirt or a shirt for work as well.
