CHESAPEAKE’SからヴィンテージさながらのBDUジャケットが
入荷して参りました！
今回は1981年からアメリカ軍に正式採用されたBattle Dress Uniform Jacketを忠実に再現された
1枚になります。
BDUはベトナム戦争で使用されたジャングルファティーグをベースに作られた
モデルとなり2012年までアメリカ軍の野戦用の戦闘服として採用され、作業着としても使用されており
陸軍のみならず、海軍や空軍を含めた戦闘服として開発されました。
ディテールも1枚仕立ての軽い作りになり、襟部分には台襟がなくスッキリとした印象になります。
胸ポケットと腰ポケットにはマチ付きのフラップポケットが採用されており、肘部分のエルボーパッチは
匍匐前進を行う際の強度補強になります。
使用している生地もコットンリップストップで強度もあり速乾性にも優れ着込む程に味が出てくる
生地になります。
商品にはハードな洗い加工が施されており、細部には綺麗にパッカリングが出ておりますので
ヴィンテージと間違えてしまうほどの出来栄えになります。
着熟方もカジュアルにTシャツや半袖スウェットに合わせて頂いたりBDシャツなどにも良いですよね！

CHESAPEAKE'S has just received a vintage-style BDU jacket from CHESAPEAKE'S.
This jacket is a faithful reproduction of the Battle Dress Uniform Jacket that was officially adopted by the U.S. military in 1981.
The BDU was developed based on the jungle fatigues used in the Vietnam War, and was adopted as the field uniform of the U.S. Army until 2012, and was also used as work clothes.
The details are light and one-piece tailoring, and the collar has no lapel for a clean impression.
The chest and hip pockets have gusseted flap pockets, and elbow patches on the elbows provide strength reinforcement when crawling.
The fabric used is cotton ripstop, which is strong and quick-drying, and the more you wear it, the more the taste comes out.
The fabric has been washed hard and the details have a beautiful puckering effect, so it could be mistaken for vintage.
It is good for casual wear with T-shirts, short sleeve sweatshirts, and BD shirts.
