SHANANA MIL “GYPSY” TIGER STRIPE JUNGLE FATIGUE

2003年からアメリカで活動が行われた『SHANANA MIL』から
Boysで人気商品のTIGER STRIPE JUNGLE FATIGUEの登場です。
SHANANA MILのデザイナーでもあるGYPSYさんは長年ヴィンテージミリタリーの
ディーラで今では自身でピックしたヴィンテージミリタリーを丁寧に手作業でプリントを行う
『GYPSY TIGER STRIPE』を施したJUNGLE FATIGUEです。
今回のJUNGLE FATIGUEは3rdモデルと4thモデルになるので1967年〜1968年までとなります。
当時、ベトナム戦争時にアメリカ軍の海兵隊部隊がジャングルに同化するようにと一人一人が
このストライプを入れており、それをGYPSYさんがハンドペイントを行った1枚になります。
また、全て左袖部分にはPLAY BOYのマークも施しており、こちらもは作業で行われております。
このPLAY BOYも当時PLAY BOYがアメリカ軍に支給をおこなっており飛行機の機体などに
PLAY BOYのマークが入っておりました。
ディテールもフロントボタンは比翼仕立てにポケットにはフラップが付きで袖口は2段階調節が
出来るようになっております。
今回は3モデルとなりますが、どれもペイントの入り方もなどに個体差もあり世界に1枚しかない
1点物となります。

AモデルはSMALL/REGULARのコットンリップ生地にポケットのマチ下にドレインホールが付いております。
BモデルはSMALL/SHORTのノンリップのコットンポプリン生地にマチ下にはドレインホールが付いていな仕様となり
右ポケット下に小さな穴あきキズと前立て部分に修理後が御座います。
CモデルはMEDIUM/SHORT(タグが付いていないのでおそらくになります。)こちらもノンリップのコットンポプリン生地になり
マチ下にはドレインホールが付いていない仕様となり右ポケット以外はポケットをタタキ縫いを施した1枚となります。

着初めはこのストライプの黒がハッキリしておりますが、着込む程に薄れていき自然な雰囲気で着用して
頂けるようになります。
カジュアルに半袖スウェットやTシャツなどに合わせて頂いても良いですし、ジャケットやスーツの上から羽織って頂いても
物凄く雰囲気のある1枚になります。

同じサイズ感などは中々入荷してくる事は中々なくサイズが合えば本当にラッキーな1枚だと思います。
春夏秋冬とオールシーズン着用して頂けるSHANANA MILの“GYPSY” TIGER STRIPE JUNGLE FATIGUEです。

From "SHANANA MIL", which has been active in the U.S. since 2003, comes the TIGER STRIPE JUNGLE FATIGUE, a popular product at Boys.
GYPSY, who is also the designer of SHANANANA MIL, has been a dealer of vintage military for many years, and now it is JUNGLE FATIGUE with "GYPSY TIGER STRIPE" that is carefully printed by hand with vintage military picked by himself.
This JUNGLE FATIGUE is the 3rd and 4th model, so it is from 1967 to 1968.
At that time, each Marine Corps unit of the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War put this stripe to assimilate into the jungle, and it becomes one piece that Mr. GYPSY did hand-paint it.
In addition, the mark of PLAY BOY is also applied to the left sleeve portion of all, and this is also done by work.
The PLAY BOY mark was also supplied by PLAY BOY to the U.S. military at the time, and the PLAY BOY mark was included on airplane fuselages and other items.
The front buttons are tailored with a double-edged design, and the pockets have flaps, and the cuffs can be adjusted in two different ways.
There are three models this time, but they all have individual differences in the way the paint is applied, making them one-of-a-kind pieces that are unique to the world.

Model A is a small/regular cotton rip fabric with drain holes under the pocket gussets.
Model B is a SMALL/SHORT non-rip cotton poplin fabric with no drain holes under the gusset, and has a small hole under the right pocket and a repair on the front placket.
Model C is MEDIUM/SHORT (probably because there is no tag attached).
It is also made of non-rip cotton poplin fabric and has no drain holes under the gusset.

The black stripes are very obvious at the beginning, but will fade as the garment is worn, giving it a natural look and feel.
It can be worn casually with a short-sleeved sweatshirt or T-shirt, or over a jacket or suit.
The same size is rarely in stock, so you will be really lucky if your size fits.
SHANANA MIL's "GYPSY" TIGER STRIPE JUNGLE FATIGUE can be worn in spring, summer, fall, winter and all seasons.
