MAKERSに別注しましたダーティーバックスになります。
MAKERSは日本が誇るシューメーカーになり、こちらの木型などもアメリカンラストによく見られる内振りを
無くしましてヨーロッパ靴みたいに中心が靴の真ん中に来る様な独特の木型を使用しております。
本来はアメリカ靴のダーティーバックスなのですが、どこかヨーロッパな顔立ちもしております。
それから外羽根のシューズになりますが、羽根自身も長めに作られておりますので内羽根のシューズみたいに
羽根もきっちり閉まってくると思います。
そして日本人の足に合う木型に仕上げているのです。
輸入靴より踵のカップなども小さくしており日本人の踵のサイズに合わせて作られております。
アッパーに使用しました皮革も日本製牛スウェードになります。
毛足が長く油分も多く含まれておりますので、経年変化で濃淡も演出されシューズをより立体的な雰囲気に
仕上げてくれます。
要は外人が履いたあの雰囲気に仕立ててくれていると言う訳なんです。
These are “Dirty Bucks” created as a special order from MAKERS, a renowned Japanese shoemaker.
The last (shoe form) used here is unique; it eliminates the inward-curving shape often found in American lasts, opting instead for a design where the center aligns with the middle of the shoe—much like European footwear.
While Dirty Bucks are traditionally an American style, this pair possesses a distinctly European aesthetic.
They feature an “open-lacing” (Derby) design, but the quarters are cut longer, allowing them to close snugly—much like an “Oxford” (closed-lacing) shoe—when laced up.
Furthermore, the last is specifically crafted to suit the Japanese foot.
Compared to imported shoes, the heel cup is smaller, tailored to the dimensions of Japanese heels.
The upper is made from Japanese cowhide suede.
The suede has a long nap and a high oil content; as it ages, it develops beautiful tonal variations, giving the shoe a rich, three-dimensional character.
In short, they capture that authentic look and feel often seen when worn by Westerners.
