昨年、同様に色々なトレーディングポストやPAWN SHOPを駆け巡りましたが、
昨年とはシルバー物のお値段がかなり跳ね上がっており、ローカルのシルバースミスなどに
話を伺いますと、
（シルバーの値段が三倍に跳ね上がり、ネイティブのシルバースミス達がシルバー自身を
買えなくなっていて、しばらく出稼ぎに出る者やシルバーの代替えに銅でバングルやリング
など作っている者などが殆どでシルバーのインディアンジュエリー自体が品薄になっている）
そうです。
まあ、現状、米国での物価の上昇は凄くて僕の友人達も住みづらくなっているそうです。
それでも、そんな中、買付は行ってきております。

I made the rounds of various trading posts and pawn shops just as I did last year,
but the prices for silver items have skyrocketed compared to last year.
When I spoke with local silversmiths,
I learned that the price of silver has tripled, leaving Native silversmiths unable to afford the raw material itself;
most have either gone elsewhere for temporary work or are making bangles and rings out of copper instead of silver,
resulting in a general shortage of Native American silver jewelry.
Indeed, the cost of living in the U.S. has surged dramatically, making it increasingly difficult for my friends there to get by.
Even so, I have managed to carry out my buying trip amidst these challenges.

になります。
実は、彼女の所属するヤジーファミリーはインディアンジュエリー界では知らない人は居ないと
言われており、数々の賞を受賞している格式高いファミリーだそうです。
両親は、1940年代から銀職人として活動されており、13人の子供の内9人が銀職人として現在も
活動しているそうです。
兄貴のLee Yazzieはジュエリー界の巨匠でニューメキシコでは知らない方はいないそうです。
其の兄であるLee Yazzieから銀細工を学んだ彼女もシルバースミスとしてトップアーティストの
一人として名を馳せているそうです。
其のデザイン美は、シンプルでありながらエレガントでターコイズなどの石の魅力を最大限に
引き出す細工を演出するそうです。
